Day before his birthday
"I'm ready to talk about Jesse." Rachel says nervously as she stands in Axton's office doorway. We glance her way. She still sounds a bit fearful and nervous.
That day after our walk she had said she wanted to learn about Jesse's end. But then she changed her mind. Shying away almost like a hermit crab. I couldn't figure out what happened. She seemed more reassured after our little talk that night. I know Serena and Dahlia have been stopping by to see her. And May tried to see her that morning at breakfast.
"Come in Rachel. I'm going to link Bellamy to join us. Would you like Serena and Dahlia to be here? And some of us can leave if needed." Axton asks her slowly.
"No, I need all of you here. Could May join us if possible?" She walks in and I give up my ch
