Chapter Twenty Nine- The Black Forest

The dark sky accompanied by the dense forest made it hard to see. Our heightened vision and the pixies light made things a little easier, but we still found ourselves tripping on upped roots and rocks. The amount of times I stumbled made me wonder if we were being tricked by the fae. The trees did seem to have a mind of their own. I also knew wood nymphs resided in these woods.  Taking my suspicion into account I stopped dead in my tracks. I closed my eyes and summoned my heavenly light. Light seeped out of me, covering every inch of darkened space around us. "If we are being tricked in anyway, I can not promise your safety as I have the pixies." I stated in a cold, calculating voice.  I listened as the trees around us buried their roots, rocks rolled away from our path. Woodland creatur
