" I'll be reporting to school on the coming weekend, I'll remember to bring all my requirements with me, am looking forward to joining your school". Brendah wants a fresh start, with new People where no one knows her or knows her story. she is running away from her past. it's been two weeks now since they broke up with her girlfriend. Later that Saturday Brendah is drove by her brother Carlos with her bestie Gracie to the school. The director Mrs Sylvia with the Matron ushers them inside the office. " good morning, my name is Mrs Sylvia the director of the school and here is your school Matron miss Hope, we are glad that finally you have joined our institution after all the planning and failing of the year, I assure you Sir Carlos your sister is in good hands." "The director seems nice" Gracie says. The Matron shows brendah her new room and her three room mates. Now it's time for Carlos and Gracie to leave, Brendah looks a little scared but doesn't shows it. "You can call me Winnie, am the school president and also surprisingly your room mate, how do you think I give you a tour of the school while we chat?" Yeah! sure is not like I have anywhere else to go to. They both giggle. Winnie looks funny and friendly. Two girls sits on Brendah's bed "Hi you! are you the new student?? come closer we don't bite, let's see what you are writing!" Winnie is trying to warn them but they look fearless." Don't be sad, we are your room mates am Santo and she is Claire" Brendah nearer thought she was in the wrong place. "Never mind them, they are usually so stubborn, you'll get along with them soon" Winnie says it with a smile on her face. The weekend is over but still she has one friend. "Winnie will you mind if we walked together to class, I don't want to get lost on my first day at class" brendah seems anxious and naive. Shouldn't we awake Santo and Claire? "They are always late in class, we should probably go!" Winnie doesn't get along with them also. "There is only one spot left, you should sit over there!" Brendah walks over to the front raw and sits. When the teacher is about to introduce her to the class, Santo and Claire enters the class," we are sorry, it won't happen again." Santo tells the teacher. "Ok! you always say that detention for both of you at one o'clock." the Teacher seems apset with both of them. "We can continue, as you all know we have a new student and I'll like her to come and give a brief introduction about herself." Brendah stands with her head down, she leans back on the wall, stammering " my name is Brendah from South Karen, and glad to be in your school." If you are done you can sit. Brendah walks fast to her sit, her desk partner holds her hand and says it's ok to be nervous, by the way am Valentine. As she looks towards her desk partner she sees a girl with Carly hair, pink lips and gorgeous. "Sorry! what were you saying?" now she looks confused. "I was just telling you it's ok to fear." Valentine says. " Let's listen to the teacher or she will detain us," they both giggle. The bell rings and everyone walks towards the school cafeteria. Winnie is with her friends " Hi! Brendah come sit with us." Valentine shouts. She walks towards the table, they are talking on a topic on relationships. "Brendah, tell us your body count? or are you a virgin?" they start laughing at her. "No! who at this error is still a virgin?" brendah is trying to fit in. Valentine says she'll start, "Well! my body count is two both from my boyfriends." Brendah never knew what to think about Valentine although she looks nice and pretty. Santo and Claire are out of detection, they goes to where Brendah is sitting and start cracking stupid jokes on her, everyone on the table is laughing at Brendah. She stands up from the sit and runs towards the room corridors, Winnie runs towards her. " Stop! stop! let's talk!" Brendah locks herself in the room and starts crying. Winnie leans back at the door, trying to convince Brendah to open the door. " No! Winnie, I hate them, I just wanted to fit in but they are making me feel like an outcast, I just want to be alone, no one seems to like me." brendah talks to Winnie as she cries. " Don't worry your not an outcast, you just need to take everything at ease. If you show them you are a weakling they will keep on bossing you around."Winnie shows concern. Brendah finally opens the door, they both hug and walks to class.
