Lucas' POV

The employees who worked during that event aligned themselves in the event hall early in the morning as I asked them one by one if they the person who's in the picture that I was holding. I even promised an award if they'll tell me that they're the one who recruited the omega, but I failed. And an hour I watched them all slowly leaving the room as I rubbed my head in frustration. Like, why the hell no one recognizes her? It's not like she attended the event on her own and wore those uniforms without any of the staff's help.

I seated on the couch as I saw the head manager coming towards my direction.

"Alpha, we're sorry for the inconvenience, but we really can't find the omega that you were looking for." My gaze stiffen at his face. It's clearly none of their fault, but the incompetence in monitoring their employees for safety purposes is pissing me off.

"What if my concern was more serious manager? Don't you think y'all be in more trouble if you don't have any records of your own employees?" He flinched at what I said and cowered at my sight.

"Rest assured that none of these will happen in the future again sire." He replied.

I didn't bother answering him and went out of the hall. My beta immediately went over me when he saw me coming out the from the entrance, he was talking to some guards who were on duty at that night.

When he got in front of me, he just sighed. Well, I guess that's it.

"Alpha, let's go and have our breakfast first. You haven't eaten anything yet." He said, but obviously he's the one who's hungry right now.

"You could've just told me that you're hungry. Let's go." I said and went out of the hotel.

That omege really had my eyes darted on her. I keep thinking about her day and night. My beast inside couldn't even at ease even in just a minute every time she pop back in my head. I can't say that I'm inlove or like her. She was just so interesting that I can't wait to see her again.

"Acck!" I groaned lightly.

"Your Highness!! What's wrong??" Niccolo asked as he parked the car on the side of the road while looking at me on the back seat.

"Oh my god your forehead your Highness, it's bleeding!! Wait me here inside the car, I'll buy an ointment and something to cover it up." He uttered while panicking and went out to the city to buy what he said.

Of course my forehead will bleed, I just uprooted my hair out of frustration when I remembered again that I should've ask her name. But when I tried to put my hands down, the hardened nails I have made contact with my forehead's skin.

Today, I can't even count how many times I regretted for not asking her name while doing it with her.

Coffee shop?

Right, I need to drink a coffee so I can think straight again.

I got out of the car and went inside the coffee shop after wiping the small cut that I have on my forehead.

I took my phone and texted Niccolo that I went inside the coffee shop not far from the car. It looks like he's having a hard time looking for a pharmacy in a street full of fashion shops and food stalls.

After ordering an iced americano, I seated on an available couch and took my mask off while waiting for my order to be serve.

Where the heck are you Niccolo?

Just I finished texting my beta when my order has been served. My eyes quickly went up to the waitress who served my order, her scent is very familiar.

"Enjoy your order sir, thank you."

Before she could take a step away from me, I grabbed her hand and pulled her closer to my side. I'm pretty sure it's her, there's no way I am mistaken. I can't believe that I'll be able to find her here and not in the hotel.

"S-Sir?" She mumbled. I pulled her to the couch that I was sitting to let her seat beside me.

"It's nice to see you again omega." I hummed softly while holding her hand. I can't explain how much happiness this encounter have brought me. This is the first time I've experience this, to think this isn't something like I achieved an award or business proposal.

"Y-You must be mistaken for someone sire. I don't know you." She replied, she's very bad at acting. She's obviously lying at me since she's stuttering and can't look straight into my eyes.

I freed her hand and gave her a space just so that she won't feel awkward at my presence.

"There's no way that you can't remember this face omega. And why are you lying at me, I won't bite you." I said grinning at her.

"I don't know what you're talking about." She said throwing her gaze away from me. "Sir I have to g..."

"Stay for a while." I said while holding her hand again, not wanting to let her go.

"Excuse me sir, my colleague needs to be back at work since there are other customers buying." I took my hands off from the omega when an alpha showed up on our table. She stood back on her toes and followed the alpha.

"I'll be waiting here after you finish your work." I exclaimed, she just looked at me and hurried back to the counter.

So you were just working here the whole time I was looking for you.

I just watched her working that I didn't notice Niccolo already seated in front of me.

"Sorry it took me so long your Highness. I didn't know that the pharmacy was so far, I should've just brought the car with you."

My heart instantly skipped at what he said. Right, what if he took me together with him? I would've missed the opportunity of seeing the omega that I was looking for.

"It's actually fortunate that you decided to left me. Since I've found the omega I was looking for if it weren't for you." I said while glancing at her serving the orders to other costumers.

"Wait.. you're telling that, that is the omega we were looking the whole time? She's completely different from the picture of the camera." He uttered.

"Prettier in person right? Now, why don't you order some food. I thought you were hungry." I said.

"I was worrying for nothing that I forgot how hungry I was." He replied stamping his feet going to the counter. Good thing that they also sells food to eat for breakfast and lunch. I wonder what time is her log out.

Niccolo came back with a number stand with him. At first I was confused what's the use of it then I just realized that it's for the order. This is my first time eating in an average coffee and food shop since I only eat the food that Niccolo would prepare for me.

The food arrived and it was served by the alpha and not by the omega. My eyes narrowed at him as he went back to the counter and whispered something to her. They look close to each other, and it's irritating me.

"I can't believe you your Highness." I was reading a book on my ipad when Niccolo suddenly said something.

"Can't believe what?" I asked. I am curious at what he's about to say.

"I mean this is the first time you've waited for someone for almost five hours. It's already three pm and you're waiting patiently for an OMEGA! Arrg!" He uttered while throwing his head on the other direction and rubbed his forehead. He's overreacting, he is so annoying.

"You don't have to overreact like that Niccolo. You know that I am like this whenever I want something." I casually replied and went back on reading.

"I know.. but an omega your Highness??" I ignored him and continue on reading. Honestly, I'm also surprised at myself for waiting this long. Before, whenever I want something, I really don't wait patiently but instead I always find other ways to hasten the process. But with her, I don't want to pressure her. Because if I do that, I feel like I'm going to lose her again. The thought of it makes me want to punch myself.

My eyes went on her and I saw her coming out from the other side door with her casual clothes. So her out is around three pm.

"Niccolo. Wait for me in the car." I ordered, and immediately he excused himself.

She saw me standing at my table so she went over me. She looks even more beautiful right now, I bet she washed her face before coming out to meet me again.

"Say.. what do you want?" She asked with her head looking down. I was about to say something when I've notice that the other alpha is glancing on our direction.

Looks like he care for her so much. I wonder what's their relationship.

"Can I invite you somewhere?" I mumbled, I can't talk with her properly with this guy keeps looking at her like he is her brother or guardian.

"I can't, I have an on-call job later at four pm." I was shock at what she said.

"You're working another job after this? Isn't that too much?" I asked.

She just raised her eyebrows at me. For an omega, she's feisty as always. Makes me want to have her even more. "Look, I need some money to live. So if I don't work my ass off, I'll have nothing to eat for the next days." She replied with her frown face.

"How much is that job paying you? I'll pay the time that you'll spend with me instead." I said.
