Lucas' POV

"What do you mean you can't find her? Ask everyone in the staff room if who's that omega!" I snarled at my phone while talking to my beta.

"Your Highness, I already did that. They don't have any idea since we don't have any clear picture of her." Niccolo replied through the other line.

"How about the cameras around the hall? Ask a copy of it and show them her face." I suggested.

"I already did that too, but she was hardly caught on camera. There's a record of her entering the staff room, but her face was slightly covered by her long hair. Also, the manager said that some of the employees during the party were just an additional workers only for the night. Alpha, I believe she's one of them." He sighed as if it's the dead end that we can't find her anymore.

Tch!

I snorted after hearing what he said. What kind of management is that? They don't even have their employee's profiles, even if they're just recruits.

My head has been aching from the past four hours after that omega suddenly left without a notice.

I was so into her heat last night that I forgot to ask her name.

Five hours ago, I woke up at seven in the morning when my phone rang with Niccolo's name on the screen. I immediately answered it, not wanting to wake the omega up who's sleeping deeply in my embrace.

"What?" I greeted first in my low voice.

"Goodmorning your Highness. Please get yourself ready in thirty minutes, so we can eat our breakfast and attend your appointment with Mr. Marquez." He exclaimed, as expected from my Beta.

"Niccolo, cancel all my meetings today. Also, we won't leave the hotel without my signal. Just rest in your room or go somewhere go want to go." I replied before the omega wakes up.

"What? But Alpha, the meeting is important." He uttered.

"I'm hanging up." I said and turned my phone off. Niccolo will be fine, he can handle everything just how he always used to.

After putting my phone back to the table, I darted my attention towards at the omega who's sleeping on my arms. Her head and shoulders feel so light weight that I didn't have to struggle myself. She must've been so tired from last night.

I felt my face flushed while tracing her cheek down to her chin with my fingers gently. This omega is so lucky that she caught someone like me easily.

When she rolled to the other side of the bed, I decided to get up to take a shower. While scrubbing the shampoo on my head, I heard a screech outside that I hurried taking a bath even though I just started. After rinsing, I quickly went outside the bathroom but only to find out that the omega who's sleeping on my bed, is already gone.

I immediately dialed Niccolo's number to find her.

"What? You were with someone last night and to think it's an omega? A hotel staff?" Niccolo is almost shouting at me when he came into my room and told him to find the omega who I slept last night.

"That doesn't matter. I want you to find everything about her." I ordered, he just sighed and went out to do what I instructed.

It's already been five hours and knowing how good Niccolo at everything that I ask him, it must've really hard to find her. When we can't get any information from the hotel's management, I decided not to check out from the hotel since I still have a lot of places to go in the city. And I'm still hoping that I could see her again.

I'll pursue this matter once I get my schedules clear for tomorrow.

Eight in the evening when we arrived back at the apartment. I pushed through all my meetings in one go even until this late night, just so that I'll have enough time for tomorrow. I wanted to talk to every staff to ask if who recruited that omega.

I'll definitely gonna find her myself tomorrow.

Karina's POV

The moment I got home from work, Mia was sitting on her bed while looking directly at the door, as if she's waiting for my arrival. I flinched when she commanded me to come over to her direction.

I did and went over to her since I know that I owe her an explanation. I seated next to her on the bed, she was looking at me with her raised eyebrows.

"Karina, now tell me. Where were you last night? You told me that the on-call job that you were talking about is not a scam, so where were you the whole night?" She asked, demanding an answered from me. As expected from Mia that she'll bombard me with so many questions once I'll get home.

As if I had another choice, so I ended up telling her everything that happened to me from the enormous hall, to my heat until doing it with an alpha. After hearing the last part of my story, she flicked my forehead that made me groan in pain.

"You're so stupid and reckless same as before Karina. Didn't I told you to go home if you'll notice your body starting to get heat? And where's the alpha pheromones perfume? It might be the reason for your triggered on your heat." My face just doing a frown the whole time she's scolding me.

"I know, it was just so fast and that alpha was there to help me depressed it. And the perfume, it's already in your shelves." I replied.

"About that Alpha.. what is he like? Did he really forced you to do it. He must be a pervert for taking advantage your heat."

I throw my gaze at her, remembering how handsome and good at s*x that alpha was.

"W-Well, he did forced me, but I didn't hate it either." She slapped my arm playfully at what I said.

"You hate alphas, so I bet he's handsome that's why you're saying that." I just grinned at her and went over to my bed to rest after we're done talking.

While I was at work earlier, I couldn't stop thinking about him. I recall ever small details from that night, his gentle strokes and heavenly thrusts.

What the hell are you thinking Karina! He's an alpha for goodness sake.

I shake my head lightly and shut my eyes down to sleep. He must've forgotten about me anyway.

The next morning, luckily I got early so that I wont be late again at the coffee shop. I need to find another extra job for later, my pay from the coffee shop is just not enough.

After getting ready, I went out of our apartment and starts walking heading to the shop.

Let's see if who else needs some extra manpower..

My fingers suddenly stopped from scrolling at the on-call jobs website when my phone rang with my friend's name on the screen, the one who recruited me at the hotel.

"Hello?" I greeted first.

"Karina? How are you? By the way, I already sent the money that I promised, it's not much though." A wide smile instantly formed on my lips at what she said.

"Really? It's okay, thank you. I'll claim it later." I replied while bouncing my feet, I'm almost at the coffee.

"And also, an Alpha and beta came into our office asking every staff about the omega who's obviously you as he described. I bet he's looking at you since you slept with him.. but I didn't tell that I know you looking at how dominant that Alpha was, he might do something bad at you. So I remained calm until they went out. But I heard they haven't stop, that they've even checked the cameras to see your face clearly." My feet froze at what she said.

What? Why is he looking at me?

He must've felt angry at me for sleeping at him. By just thinking about it makes my legs shiver. My friend turned the call off after telling me to take care, as if I am a wanted person that being chase by the authorities.

I immediately went inside the coffee shop not wanting to stay longer at the street. Someone might see me and report to him. Am I being too paranoid?

"Good morning Mathew." I greeted.

"It's really a good morning, seeing you this early in the shop." He's always been like this to me and I never get used to it, he still pissing me off.

I went closer to the alpha and playfully slide my fingers from his neck to his chest.

"Want me to make your morning good, Mathew?" He flinched and moved backwards at my action. I smirked at him and went inside the staff room to get ready. Mathew acts like a cocky towards me all the time, but easily flustered when I tease him back.

When everything is ready, we opened the coffee shop knowing most people will visit in the shop during these hours. My work here is almost all around, like serving, washing and preparing the food. And Mathew is the one brewing and making the coffee. Even the shop is not that big, but sometimes all of the chairs inside were filled with customers. The shop is actually doing good, I may say.

The bell on the door suddenly rang.

Hmm another customer.

I said inside while restocking the packs of coffee powders below the casher. I heard a familiar voice, but I didn't bother to look if who is it..

Mathew suddenly tap my shoulder lightly after preparing the costumer's coffee.

"Can you serve this order to that Alpha who's wearing a mask?" He uttered. I just went directly to the customer, bringing his coffee.

The moment I was at his front, my feet froze at the sight of the Alpha who I slept with the other night. When he notice my presence, his eyes glistered and took his mask off, sniffing my natural pheromones as if he's confirming that it's really me.

Did he recognize? I hope not since I heard he was looking for me.

I quickly placed his order on the table, trying to get away from the awkward situation.

"Here's your order sir. Thank you." I said and spun around to get away from him immediately. But he held my hand and pulled me down closer to him.
