Karina's POV

As expected, there were a lot of people that want to watch the movie, since it's the first day that it will be on the cinema. I bet the premier was already done since it's already noon. I'm still on the escalator going up to the third floor of the mall where the cinemas are. Even on the escalator, people are squeezing themselves just to go up and can get their tickets.

When I got on the floor, I was having a hard time looking for Mathew because of the crowds. When he saw me, he waved his hand so I went to his direction since he's already on the line with a two medium bucket of popcorn on his arms.

"What took you so long? The first movie is about to end." He utter as soon as I arrived in his front. He give me the other popcorn and grab me to line up.

"Sorry, the crowds are crazy even on the second floor." I replied.

When the first movie was ended, we immediately went inside and took our seats. Mathew was sitting next to the stairs before me. The movie was a live adaptation of an anime action series.

While watching with him I couldn't focus on the big screen since my phone keeps on vibrating inside my small sling bag. When I took it out to see if it was a call or text, it was a messages from Lucas. I didn't want to open it since it might be rude for Mathew. Anyways, I'll just message him back later after the movie.

It's my first time watching a movie that just debut on the big screen. The experience feels so immaculate since you can hear the crowd's roar at the excitement whenever the lead characters does some incredible fights. I can also see how much Mathew is enjoying the show. I barely understand the plot since I couldn't focus, plus I'm not familiar with the anime itself.

When the movie ended, it was a blast when the audience chanted something in Japanese that filled the entire cinema. Mathew also did it and I could say that he's having a lot of fun.

After we got out, he took me to the corner where the merchandise of the movie were displayed. He bought a t-shirt with his favorite character printed in front, and a keychain for me as a gift.

"That was fun. Did you enjoy the movie as well Karina? I bet you couldn't understand the flow well since you're not watching anime." He mumbled.

"Of course, I enjoyed it. Thank you for the keychain by the way." I replied.

Mathew gently grabbed my shoulders with his both hands, when people starts pushing going down the escalator.

"That was dangerous. Let's line up properly there." He suggested, dragging me to the long line for us to get down safely.

The place is packed with omegas and alphas. I bet that person couldn't live in such crowds of recessive omegas.

I shake my head to get him out of there. Why am I thinking about him anyway. It's still two pm and Mathew said that we'll eat first before going home. I haven't had my lunch that's why I agreed.

While he's ordering some food for us, I opened my phone to check the messages. There were six messages from Lucas and he's just asking if where am I and what time I'll be back. I mean it's none of his business though. He's been ignoring me for the past few days. I guess he really did mean when he said that he's not interested on me, only if he's provoke with my heat. What an asshole.

"Hey, I only bought what I can buy since I'm not a rich alpha just like your boss you know." I suddenly felt irritated at the sudden attitude..

"As if I'm expecting something luxurious from you Mathew." I barked back, then starts eating the food that he ordered for me. How can he say that this is cheap when it's literally one of their best seller.

It's almost four pm when Mathew had done all of his errands and decided for us to go home. We went to the coffee shop first to drop the things that he bought that will be needed inside the shop. Mathew's grandmother is actually the owner of the coffee shop that's why he can just simply come and go.

The shop was closed, since Mathew decided to close it this day because of the movie.

"Just wait for a minute Karina, I'll just put these boxes on the second floor." He asked while lifting the boxes that we bought from the grocery.

I went inside the restroom to fix myself while waiting for him. After I peed, I stood in front of mirror, dazed at the weird feelings that starting to swirl inside my body.

My legs starting to tremble as I clasp my hands on the marble sink for a support.

"Haah." I was panting heavily when I started to lose my breath.

Sh*t don't tell me I'm starting to have my heat again?

I said inside. I can still clearly remember that this is how I felt the first time I encountered my heat.

My hand went inside my sling bag when I heard my phone ringing. I'm still sober right?

I answered the phone call when I saw Lucas' name on the screen..

"Karina, when are you going to get home?" He asked in the other line. But my head feels dizzy, doesn't know how to answer properly.

"Haa..Lucas..my body is burning."

"Hey! Where are you right? I'm going to get you! Are you still in the mall?"

Get me? Why would he get me? I wander my head around after what he said.

"Not in the mall.. restroom.. haa." I simply replied and brought my hand down, ending the call when I feel like my arm is losing its strength to grip the phone.

With my legs were shaking, I went out of the restroom, going to the counter.

"Haa." This is driving me crazy.

Where is it. That delicious smell, I want to inspire it.
