Maybe Vampire don't suck?

After I stopped my sobbing, I could hear muffled noise around me my ears are ringing too loud to understand what’s happening. Did my dad come to recuse me? I can’t smell him though I feel the pain from my injuries creeping on me as I lay there looking around feeling my head pounding made it hard to focus but once my vision started to clear up the muffling noise became more audible. I see a cloud of dust as the vampires from earlier are fighting each other one on top of the other fists flying I couldn’t make out who was winning the dust cloud hadn’t settled so it made it difficult. I hear heavy breathing from both of them Ben the mister stand by guy was the one on top gripping his friend Jace by his collar as his long dark hair draped over his face, but I could see his eyes were glowing Ben was pissed he kept punching Jace in the face and started to shout “What the f**k is wrong with you Jace she’s just a kid! Your f*****g lucky you’re my brother or I’d kill you myself. Werewolf or not it’s not your call we’re just supposed to take outsiders to the Elders that’s it! All this bullshit your doing isn’t going to bring back Kenny so knock it the f**k off! It’s The Elders! They decide fate! Our orders are if anyone comes into our territory unwelcomed we bring them to the elders that’s it! We do not kill unless our lives are on the line fucker not the other way around dipshit!” Jace pushes Ben off and was clearly angry about Ben defending me. I feel my body shaking from the pain I sob quietly while Jace looks at me as he gets up and spat a mouth full of blood as he looks over to Ben “f**k you Ben! Don’t cry to me when this b***h has Kira in between her teeth.” Ben looked at him getting his fist ready to swing again Jace stone faced let out a groan “Keep her quiet if you don’t want me beating her to death Ben. Or would you rather her daddy kill us? You know he’s not far right we’re lucky your wife a witch cause if she hadn’t casted that spell earlier we’d be s**t out of luck.” My blood ran cold I felt beyond pitiful waiting for my dad to save me there’s no way he’d find me if there’s a spell involved. Jace handed my chains over to Ben and stormed ahead without looking back. I look at the man in front of me his long dark hair covered his face but I could still see his eyes pools of honey with green emeralds at the edge I felt an instant calm from him knowing he wouldn’t hurt me like Jace did. Ben proved that he was different.  I whispered pitifully to Ben “Please let me go… Ben I promise I won’t say anything to my dad I’ll even forget what Jace did... Please I just need to get home. My mom died I’m all my dad’s got now.” I sobbed heavily Ben looked at me with sorrow and let out a sigh as he patted my head to comfort me he tried to clear his throat to hide his sadness “I wish I could, but I can’t pup. You know you can’t just cross over… It’s not personal it’s just… orders are orders… if I let you go Jace might go and tell the Elders and I’d get in big trouble… Let’s just say the elders use our families to keep the rest of us in line when they feel crossed…” I looked at him and whispered “Please don’t do this...” His eyes on the verge of tears as he curses underneath his breath as he leaned in and whispers in my ear “I’ll try to help you but if I do promise you won’t look back you keep running got it...?” He leans away and then softly says “Come on pup if we stay in the same spot Jace will think somethings up...” I nod my head and try getting up slowly as possible the pain from earlier is heavily affecting me and my breathing. It felt like I was being clawed from the inside out… Jace must have broken my ribs or something I attempt to calm my sobbing; I never thought I’d say this but I really regret not listening to my dad he was right. I wish I would heal faster, but the chains seem to be making it beyond difficult for my healing capabilities to kick in like they normally do. I look up ahead and see the red headed demon Jace being approached by a girl close my age maybe even younger he looks around with clear annoyance as his eyes land on me and if looks could kill I’d be dead at a glance from this guy but I wonder why he didn’t kill me when he had the chance I mean I get that he beat me up but why didn’t he just kill me... Jace and the little girl are walking towards us I didn’t realize how far away they were they almost looked like tiny ants maybe even smaller. I feel sluggish and slightly airheaded as I look at Ben, I’m hopeless and full of dread from this whole ordeal like can I really trust him what if he’s taking me into a trap. Ben looked at me with a compassionate smile and whispered so softly so that only I could hear “Sorry about Jace. He wasn’t always like this he was actually pro werewolf till… he found his son Kenny dead by the river about two weeks ago he was around your age… My nephew was the sweetest boy… Kenny loved werewolves he thought it was so cool that you guys could turn into a giant wolves and get all primal… Jace would tell him bedtime stories about your kind and how one day vampires and werewolves would get along good enough to be next door neighbors. Kenny really believed it too hell Kenny even joked that he’d marry a werewolf just so he could pee on a tree and not get in trouble for it. Obviously, that’s not how it works but to Kenny it made sense.” Ben had a pained smile and chuckled “He had a pretty wild imagination… I really miss him” Ben looked like he got lost in his thoughts fondly reminiscing of his nephew then he sighed as his face turned sour “Jace thinks it was werewolves that did it because his boy had rouge claw marks all over… his body...  Kenny couldn’t even have an open casket from how bad of shape he was in…seeing your kid like that would kill any parent… Jace is hurting right now he’s not a bad guy he’s just struggling with himself pup. Don’t get me wrong it doesn’t make what he did to you right but just thought you deserved to know why he was so on edge about you… Kenny would be heartbroken to see his dad like this but there’s only so much we can do for Jace. I don’t think it was rouges that attacked Kenny…my wife’s a witch and she thinks a dark witch and the elders are behind our nephew’s death. I think the Elders ordered it because two months before what happened to Kenny… Jace had secretly sheltered a werewolf in his home for about a week and Jace never told the Elders didn’t even ask them permission that’s takes balls considering they can kill your whole bloodline off without even batting an eye… they found out about what Jace did around the same time that Kenny died… We don’t know how they found out but It’s just a little too much of a coincidence for me and my wife’s  liking… My wife is the Elder witch but because she’s not a decedent of a vampire bloodline they keep her in the dark about a lot of their shady practices and plead innocent… Bastards… We can’t over throw them since none of us have pureblood but there is someone who might change that we just have to hope she’s willing to change the rules for us…” I looked at Ben in horror as my gaze shifted to Jace our eyes locked and Jace looked away with distaste. The little girl next to him notices me and begins to run at me with something shiny in her hands. I was startled by her lighting speed then I saw her hoodie fall as I instantly noticed her piercing ruby red eyes, long white hair, lips pink as rose petals, and skin as light as snow. s**t! She’s a pure blood vampire how the hell is this even possible I thought they didn’t leave their homes till their abilities fully developed maybe she’s a prodigy or something! All I could think of is how I’m beyond screwed full blooded vampires are notoriously known to keep any werewolves as pets or worse. I try to run away instantly feeling my skin peeling from the chains and my ankles shaking uncontrollably from the pain. I realize Ben’s still holding my chains I look at him with a pleading look and he winked at me with a halfhearted grin after a few steps he pretended to stumble and let go of my chains. I smirk at him and I take my chance to grab my chains I instantaneously regretting it as the feel and smell my burning hands invade my body. I hear the little girl but can’t make out what she’s saying sounds like she’s yelling but happy at the same time. I’m trying my hardest to resist looking back I hope Ben and his family will be alright... it’s weird I even feel bad for Jace now…
