Kiss me goodbye

It has been a week since Ella accepted Drake. Right now, we are shopping. Why you ask? Well Jay asked me on a date and I said yes.

- Flashback –

I am laying on the hammock listening to Ella talk endlessly about upcoming holidays. And before you ask no, mom and dad are still on their victory vacation.

“I have to use the bathroom. Be right back.”

“Hey.” I heard a voice say. A voice I know very well. Jay.

“Hey.” I said without opening my eyes. Suddenly my legs are being lifted and placed on a lap. That’s when I opened my eyes and looked at Jay looking nervously at me. I took his hand that was on my knee.

“Are you okay? You look…nervous.”

“I am fine. I…um…”

“You?”

“I wanted to know if you would like to go out with me. Like on a date.” He looked at our hands all nervous and he is looking so cute right now. I just want to pinch his cheek like old women do to their grandkids.

“I-” I wanted to say yes (duh! I would be an i***t to say no) when I was interrupted.

“Dammit Becca if you don’t say yes, I will.” I heard Ella say. We both looked up at her. And her realizing that we know she’s ears dropping from the window she quickly sat down and I looked at Jay and saw he’s already looking at me with hopeful face.

“I-” deciding to tease him a little and rather show him I leaned in and kissed him. he responded almost immediately wrapping his arms around my waist pulling me closer so I was straddling him. I put my hands on his shoulders while we kissed slow but passionate.

“PDA guys.” I quickly broke of and stood up. Because that was not Ella’s voice. Or even Damiano’s. It was Robert.

I spent so much time at Ella’s place Robert and Michelle became like parents that I didn’t have but could have if my own parents wouldn’t be workaholic.

So, I hope you understand why I feel so embarrassed to be caught kissing by Robert.

“Oh, leave them be Robert. You were young once too remember.” Michelle came. She saw the emotional state I was in and pulled Robert inside and winking at me.

Jay stood up and came to me and put his arms around me leaning in. I thought he is going to kiss me but he went past my lips to my ears.

“I take that kiss means you agree.”

“Yes.”

-End of flashback-

So now we are currently in Forever 21 buying some clothes for my date because apparently, I don’t have and I quote ‘enough hot and sexy yet innocent clothes for my first date’ Ella’s words, not mine.

Ella is trying to put me in a dress so I am trying now a nice red backless and strapless dress reaching my midthigh.

“Why can’t I just wear some jeans and a crop top?”

“Easy access.”

What?

I looked at her and her smirk told me everything. That dirty little b***h.

“So, what do you think?”

I honestly don’t like the fact that it doesn’t have straps. I feel like it will fall any moment now.

“No, it’s missing something.”

“Straps?”

“Get in there I am going to look some more.”

I went back in the dressing room and got out of the dress. And before I could hang the dress Ella’s hand came in the room with a black skirt and a white crop top with long sleeves.

I put it on and it looked great. The skirt reached my midthigh and with a high waist coming right above my belly button. And the shirt showed a little cleavage with my shoulders showing and a little of my stomach.

I went outside of the dressing room and Ella looked at me with a look that said we found the right outfit.

“Undress. Then we’re paying for it.”

After paying she dragged me to Victoria Secret where she made me try on white bras and panties. I tried to argue with her but her telling me that my black bras could be seen through my white shirt shut me up. I am sure that it wouldn’t be seen but I don’ want to risk it.

So, we paid for white panties and white lacy bra and left to get some food. Honestly all this shopping made me tired.

“Bec are you okay? You look tired.”

“No, I-” I probably should tell her. She will find out eventually any way.

She looked at me with worry so I grabbed our food and her hand and left to the car.

“Okay can you please tell me. I know there is something you aren’t telling me.”

“I promise I will tell you but first get us back to Jay’s place.”

Once we arrived, I made sure that we will have a house to ourselves and then I dragged her to mine and Jay’s room where we sat down on the bed.

“Please don’t be mad for not telling you this sooner.”

“I promise.”

“Okay. So, you remember when I left to live with Matt for 3 years?”

“Yes, I remember. Boarding school, right?” that was a lie my dear parents told people every time they would ask them where I am.

“No. That is a lie my parents told.”

“Well what is the truth then?”

“I was sick. I had leukemia and I was in New York getting my treatments. I was afraid to tell you and Sam because I didn’t know what you would do. When I got better, I came back. But then after our midnight adventure I was getting really tired really fast. And when I went to see Matt in Boston, he wanted me to see a doctor. He said that leukemia came back and that is why I stayed in Boston a week longer than I first intended.”

by the time I finished she was already crying silently. We hugged each other for a while before she told me to rest before the date.

-1hour and 30minutes later-

I finally woke up by Ella telling me it’s time to get ready. I took a shower and then Ella did my hair.

“The pack doctor said if I turn into a werewolf like you, I could get better.”

“Will you do it? Turn into one?”

“Maybe. I’m still thinking about it.”

“Does Jay know?”

“Yes. He found out a day after the Sam died.”

She put my hair in a French braid with little braids going from my ears to the braid.

“Now make up. And don’t worry I will go easy on you.”

After another 30 minutes on my make up she finished and let me put my clothes on. She wanted me to go in heals but I refused saying I want to finish the date alive. So, I put on my black all-star shoes.

At 8 there was a knock on my door and in came Michelle.

“Your date is here.”

I smiled at her and left to get Jay. When I came downstairs, I saw him talking with Robert.

Oh God. I need to stop this.

“So, you better treat her right or I swear werewolf or not I will kill you.”

“Hey Jay. Ready?”

Hearing me he looked at me and stared at me for a minute before he remembered I asked him something.

“Y-yes.”

“Ten sharp not a minute later.”

“Just be however long you want.” Michelle said and took a grumpy Robert by the hand.

“You look beautiful.” I blushed at his words.

“You look handsome.”

He leaned in and gave me a quick kiss on the lips. Then he took my hand and we both left.

“Where are you taking me?” I asked in the car when I saw that we are going outside of the pack territory and not in the city.

“You’ll see. It’s a surprise.”

We ended up on a beautiful meadow surrounded by forest. We had a picknick and looked at the stars and saw fireflies.
