17 Christmas part 1

- Christmas-

Today is Christmas and the day that Ella finally rejects Drake. I hope everything goes smoothly.

I am currently laying in bed in Jay’ arms. We woke up a while ago but we are still in bed. I have my head on his chest with my arm on his stomach in my leg over his. Now we have been dating for 2 months. After the date he asked me to be his girlfriend. And obviously I said yes. We are in the pack house in the moment. Not in his Beta house.

My parents came from their vacation about a month ago and since then the only time I heard from them was 2 weeks ago when they asked why the fridge is empty. After I told them I moved in with Jay (no I didn’t lie I wanted to hear what they would say) they just said okay and that they are leaving to Hawaii for Christmas and that I can come with and hanged up.

They didn’t even wait for my response. I talked to Matt and he said that it would not kill us to go with them. It’s not like we’re going to spend every second with them. Tina and Jay would come with.

Mom and dad already left and Matt is going tomorrow early in the morning and Jay and I are going tomorrow after we wake up. We also invited Ella and Damiano. I didn’t need to much convincing Ella to come but Damiano was completely different story. At the end Ella convinced him to come. We are going with the pack’s jet.

Can you believe that they have their own jet?

“Are you hungry?”

I looked at Jay and he was already looking at me. I nodded and then there was a knock on the door. Jay stood up to open it just to reveal a young girl with food. Her name is Zara. She is 7 years old and the head cook’s daughter. We met yesterday and spend the day playing with Barbies and watching cartoons.

“Hello.”

Jay kneeled in front of her and smiled at her.

“Hi Zara. What do you have here?”

Zara looked shyly down and offered him the tray with food.

“Dad told me to bring you this. That you didn’t come to breakfast and that you might be hungry.”

“Well thank you Zara. You brought a lot of food want to come in and help us eat?” I asked her when I reached putting my hand on jay’s shoulder.

Her eyes lit up and she nodded her head.

Jay chuckled and took the tray from her hands. While I took her hand and put her on the bed and sat next to her. Jay put the tray with food in front of us and we all started eating. In the middle of breakfast Zara tried to leave.

“Where are you going?”

“Dad is looking for me and told me to come and not bother you.” She said looking sadly at me.

“Don’t worry Zara. I mind-linked your father. He knows we invited you and agreed to let you stay. But after breakfast you have to go to him. He said he wants to talk.”

Zara’s eyes lit up again and we continued to eat in silence after we finished Zara took the tray and left. I offered to help her but she only said no and left.

Jay kissed me on the head and left in his closet to change.

“Didn’t you have training this morning?”

“No. we don’t have training for holidays.”

I nodded my head. I went in the closet after him and took some black leggings and a Nike hoddie and put on my sneakers.

Jay took my hand and we left the room to go and see Ella before she leaves. I was going to stay here until it’s over. I protested but Jay made sure I will be busy the entire time they will be gone.

He arranged with Zara’s father that I will spend time with her while he is preparing for lunch.

In the pack on Christmas day the entire pack has a lunch together but dinner is for families.

“Hey Becs.”

“Hey. Nervous?”

She nodded her head and soon after that she ran off with me going behind her. She went to the bathroom where she threw up.

“You okay?”

“Yes, just nervous. I mean what if something goes wrong.”

“Nothing is going to go wrong. You will all come back for lunch and we will then go to Damiano’s house and will talk and packed our bags for the trip then start preparing for dinner. And in the evening, we will open gifts and then tomorrow when we all wake up, we will leave for the trip.”

She nodded and then stood up. I walked to the car hugged Ella and kissed Jay whishing them good luck. Me, abuela, Robert and Michelle were watching their car leave and then left inside the house.

The pack has come used to having humans around and accepted all of us and the all love abuela the most. I left to search for Zara and they Michelle and abuela left to help with lunch and Robert went with Damiano’s uncle somewhere to talk to.

Ella p.o.v.

I was nervous the entire ride. I was supposed to meet him a mile away from the border and about 2 miles away from his cabin where he lived. He thinks I will come to him because I am ready to be marked but he doesn’t know what is actually waiting for him.

I started to wish he never killed Sam because then I wouldn’t have to do this but he did it and there is no way in hell I will actually accept that.

For the past 2 months I have been wearing a bracelet with a little bit of silver in the pendant so my connection with Aubrey would break. Meaning Aubrey can’t ruin this plan.

“We’re here. You will have to walk a little bit more straight ahead. I can’t drive you there. He has to think you are here alone. He is already waiting considering we are about 10 minutes late.”

I nodded my head and left. It was 15 minutes’ walk. Drake was already there pacing.

“Hey. I’m sorry that I’m late. I slept in and then Becca wasn’t good and…” I faked being out of bread.

And like an i***t he believed me. He came rushing to me and pulled in a bone crushing hug. I hugged him back and after a while he pulled back. And so, did I. he extended his hand as in come with me but I didn’t take it.

Instead, I looked him in the eyes and said the magic words

“I Ella Garcia reject you Drake Martin as my mate and with that I am breaking our sacred bond.” He looked at me surprised and when I finished a pain started. I screamed the pain was bad. Just like Damiano described it.

“You…”

“Me.”

I smirked at him and soon there were wolfs running to us. Shocked and weak from the bond breaking it was easier to kill him. But even then, he put up a fight. I was scared that the plan won’t work but I was wrong. After some time, he was dead. Jay burned his body making sure he is dead. We stayed until his body burned and then the wind came like ordered to scatter the ashes.

A part of me was morning for the lost of a mate. After it was done, I took the bracelet and gave it back to Jay. Aubrey came back to my mind and it took her a moment to process what happened. And when she did, she was sad. She blocked me and went morning for her mate. But I know she knows it was for the best.

“Where is Damiano?”

“There was a rouge problem so he had to leave. Come on. Let’s go back now. I’m hungry.”

When we came back abuela, my parents and Becca were there waiting for me. Becca was the first to hug me and then I hugged my parents and Becca went in the arms of her mate.

And when I saw them together, I became jealous of my best friend. Not because I was crushing on Jay or anything but because I know he would never kill her boyfriend if she had one when they met. I was jealous of the love they had.

Come let’s go inside nieta. When I entered I smelled the most beautiful smell.

“Hey guys do you smell that?”

“No honey.”

Go. Follow the smell. Now. I heard Aubrey telling me. So, I followed and when I found the source, I was beyond confused.

“Mate.”
