It’s been a week since the funeral and neither Ella or me went back to school. Matt stayed with me and Tina went back to Boston because of her school. I knew she wanted to stay but Matt convinced her to go.

Jay has been with me too during the day. And even though I was in the grieving state Matt didn’t let us out of his sight. We could be in my room but only with the doors open. And he wasn0t allowed to stay the night even thought he sneaked in every night around 10 pm and left around 5am.

Neither me or Jay have brought up my leukemia. And I know that we will talk about it at some point but there just wasn’t the time.

Right now, I am helping Ella pack her things to move in Damiano’s pack. Her parents know the truth which is the only reason they are letting her move. Her parents are going with Ella because Damiano insisted that they come if they want to be safe.

“Damiano wants to talk about Derek tomorrow. Do you think you can join too? I would appreciate your support.” Ella said while folding her clothes and pitting it in her suitcase.

“Yeah. Sure. If you want me there, I’ll be there.” After we packed, we went downstairs where we saw suitcases of Robert and Michelle already ready. Stepping in the kitchen we saw them talking to Jay and Damiano.

Ella sat beside her father while I sat next to Jay. Jay put his hands around me and pulled me closer to him.

“Are you okay?” he whispered in my ear. I just nodded my head not knowing what else to say.

“Alright. If you all are ready, I think we should get going. what do you think?” Damiano asked and Ella and her parents just nodded their heads.

When we were already getting ready Ella stopped us.

“Wait. what about abuela? We have to bring her too.”

“Honey listen-” Robert started but got cut of by Damiano.

“I’ll get one of my men to make sure she comes safe. Call her and tell her to pack and be ready in 1 hour.”

Ella nodded and took her phone. We all went in the car and waited for her to finish the phone call.

Once she got in, we left. The ride was spent by Damiano explaining how his pack runs on how will Ella’s parents stay there.

They will stay in the house with Daniel and Ella will be going to school with Jay and her parents will be escorted to work by guards.

When we came there were some guys that helped getting the suitcases in and while Damiano gave the tour of the house Jay took me to the kitchen and gave me a glass of water.

“When do you have to go back home?”

“Doesn’t matter. Matt dropped me of at Ella’s on his way to the airport.”

“Stay then.”

“What?”

“Stay. However long you want.”

“I’ll think about it.”

After that we were silent until Damiano came and gave me instructions on how to get to Ella’s room.

“Hey. Do you need help unpacking?”

“Yes please.”

We unpacked in silence and then we laid on the bed talking.

“When is Jay taking you back?”

“Not sure. He asked me to stay the night.”

The next thing I heard was her scream.

“What the hell happened?”

At the door was Jay and Damiano with Robert and Mitchell.

“Nothing.” I said while Jay and Damiano looked around the room and outside the window.

“Then why did Ella scream?” Damiano asked frustrated looking from me to Ella.

“Oh it was nothing I swear. Rebecca just told me she is staying the night. That’s all.”

Damiano raised his eyebrow at me and I opened my mouth to explain but Jay beat me to it.

“I told her she should stay the night considering that Derek is still out there.”

“Fine with me.” The guys left us but before exiting Damiano told us that Ella’s grandma is here and will be in a room next to her and to come in the kitchen in an hour for dinner.

Ella explained that she has a room next to her parents and across Damiano. We talked about school and boys. Both of us got lost of track of time so it was Jay that came to take us to dinner.

Entering in the dining room I saw Robert and Michelle sitting on one side and Ella sat next to them. Across her was Damiano and next to him sat Jay and I sat next to him. Abuela sat on the end of the table.

“Thank you Damiano for taking care of my little girl and letting us stay in your home.” Robert said after we ate dinner.

“It is nothing. I just want to make sure the deal with Drake is finished. After we deal with him you can stay here in one of the houses that are empty or you can all go back to your home.” Damiano looked at Robert but when he mentioned Drake, he looked at Ella and she looked at her hands.

“I would like to talk about him tomorrow since it’s Saturday and you don’t have school. We can’t avoid it forever and I want to finish as fast as possible.”

“It’s okay. We can talk tomorrow. But I want Becca with me there too. And abuela. Otherwise, I won’t come.”

“Ella-”

“It’s okay. They can come. You Mr. and Ms. Garcia can come too. It will be in 10 in the morning in my office that is next to my room.”

We all nodded and then Damiano and Jay excused themselves saying they have some busines to take care of.

The rest of us went to living room and we talked. While Robert and Michelle excused themselves Ella and I stayed with abuela and talked about Sam.

The entire time we were in abuela’s arms crying. And she was calming us down.

When we were both calm abuela excused herself saying that she needs some sleep and after she left Jay came saying that he is leaving and that I am coming with him.

His house was only a 5-minute walk away from Damiano’s place.

Apparently Alpha Beta and Gama get their own houses when they take their positions and usually move there when they find their mates and start a family. But in the pack house there is entire floor for Alpha for when he stays there and another floor for Beta and Gama.

“Listen. I want to talk about…” Jay started not knowing how to finish. But he didn’t have to. I knew where he was going.

“Look. It’s okay. I understand if you want nothing to do with me.” He didn’t let me continue he pulled me and turned me around and slammed his mouth to mine.

The kiss was passionate and rough but gentle at the same time. His arms went around my waist pulling me closer. My left arm went around his neck and the right arm to his chest.

He nipped at my bottom lip asking for entrance and I gladly gave him. his tongue entered my mouth and explored it. And I became a moaning mess.

And like all good things this ended too when we needed to breath in.

“I want you. No matter what. I talked to the pack doctor. And if you agree you can turn into a werewolf like Ella did.”

“But?”

There’s always a but at things like this.

“But the leukemia will be there. It will give you a lot more time to live. A lot more time for the doctor to find a way to cure you. But only if you want.”

He looked at me helpful. I thought about everyone that I will leave behind if I don’t at least try this. So, I nodded my head.

Jay gave me a kiss on the forehead and took my hand so we could continue with our walk.

Entering his house, I was greeted by a beautiful living room. The outside was beautiful but the inside was even more then Damiano’s place.

I thought that my house was big but this place is even bigger. Jay gave me the tour of the house and then took me to his room where he gave me the time to take a shower and change. Exiting his bathroom, I entered his room and saw he was gone. I sat down on his bed wearing his shirt that he gave me. I laid down under the covers and closed my eyes. Soon there were arms around me that pulled me back. Jay put his face in my neck.

After a while I still couldn’t sleep so I untangled from Jay’s grip. Entering the kitchen after getting lost 2 times I wanted to take the glass but it was too high.

But then Jay’s arm took it from me, just for me to turn around and find out that it was not Jay who gave me the glass.
