Blue light suddenly fills the space and then green and red, the three colours blending to give a uniform Tokyo nightlife look to the room. It’s a bedroom. Evelyn is sitting on a bed. And the three lights are little rubber blobs sitting on the pillows. I turn slowly, trying to fill my eyes with everything I’m seeing. I wish I was a camera. I wish I could just document it all perfectly in my head. There are some posters on the walls, weird symbols and text that I can’t read but I’m pretty sure they’re for heavy metal bands. On a chest of draws there are little bottles and a mirror, amidst a few strips of photos and some necklaces and rings.
