"Where are you taking me, Dante?" I asked as he drove out of the gate.
The speed of the car made my chest tighten, and my unease grew with every passing second.
I searched his face for any clue about his intentions, but he was unreadable.
For all I knew, he could be taking me somewhere to end my life.
His older brother already hated me, and that made my fear even worse.
They had no intention of letting me go, not until Antonio came for me, and that thought was both terrifying and strangely comforting.
Antonio was my only hope.
"Don't worry, princess, I'm not going to hurt you," Dante smirked as he pressed harder on the gas. "Relax and enjoy the ride."
