I stood looking out the window of the hospital room thinking of all the things that needed to be done around the pack. Why was I in this room when I should be in my office getting things done? I tried to leave after the doctor looked her over and just couldn't. Something made me want to stay by her side and make sure she was alright.
The doctor had said she had a bump on the back of her head and that the gash was not too worrisum. He had to put two stitches in to keep it closed. She still had not come out of her state. I sat next to her bed most of the night and held her hand. I brushed the soft brown hair out of her face and rubbed her cheek with the back of my hand. Her skin was so soft and touching it made my skin vibrate. It was quite unnerving. This was a human. My feelings towards her were just to keep her safe and get her back to the human city.
The light rays of the morning were starting to shine. The greys of the early morning were turning into the orange and pinks of the warm beauty of a fresh day.
Steven came into the room, followed by Riley. I knew they had been awake all night as well, checking the perimeter of the pack and putting extra warriors on the patrol.
"Did you find anything else?" I asked without turning around.
"No, it seems it was just that small band of rogues that were chasing her. I wonder why they were after her?" Riley stated, looking towards the girl in the bed. I turned and realized I was growling at him. What was up with me?
Riley put his hands in the air as an offering of surrender. He smiled at me in a playful way. It only furthered my bad mood. This was all so frustrating. Not understanding why I was feeling like this towards the girl was maddening.
"You should go get a shower and get some sleep. If she wakes up she might freak out at the blood that is in your hair." Steven stated as he looked at my hair. I had forgotten that I had killed the rogue and would have his blood on me.
"Yeah you're right. I will go get a shower and eat some breakfast. I want a guard outside her door." I said as I walked towards the door.
"A guard? Why? No one can get to her here." Riley stated, looking surprised at the request.
"I don't care, I want her kept safe." I growled as my Alpha aura came out.
"As you wish, Alpha," they both said as they bent their heads down in submission.
I shouldn't have let my aura out but I was just so frustrated about this whole situation. I should have apologized to them but I just wanted to get out of there before they started asking questions I had no answers for. I ran my hand through my hair as I walked across the pack house to the stairs. I wasn't about to use the elevator. Running into anyone right now was not a good thought.
The pack house was five floors. The omegas all lived on the first floor. Unless they were mated, then they had their own cottages in the center of the village. The second floor was for the Gamma and the visiting pack members. The third floor was for the Beta and visiting higher ranking pack members. The fourth floor was for any visiting Alphas. The fifth floor was all for the Alpha. It had an apartment and other rooms for a nursery and Alpha children's rooms.
I used my card key to get into the apartment. No one was allowed in here but the Alpha, beta and gamma. We all had key cards to gain entry. I walked in and headed for the bathroom to get into a well needed hot shower.
My shower has three heads of water. This helps to massage my muscles as they were definitely knotted from the fight and the stress of the evening. Here I had gone up there to try to relieve the stress and added more. The hot water running over my body felt wonderful. I slowly washed my hair and body, letting the streams of water pelt my muscles and sore back. That chair in the hospital room was not comfortable. But sitting next to the girl was relaxing for my spirit. Being next to her made me feel warm and settled.
She had looked so beautiful just lying there with her hair on the pillow like a mane around her head. Her eyelids had fluttered like she was dreaming and her lips would tighten into a frown like she was worried about something. I wanted to make those lips smile. I wonder what her eyes looked like. It had been dark last night and when she looked at me I couldn't see them well. Her body was perfect. She was not tall but not short. She felt so good in my arms carrying her to the clinic.
Suddenly, I realize I am pleasuring myself. Just thinking about her made me harder than I had ever been. I closed my eyes and thought about my hands running up and down her body and I wanted to be inside her. It gave me a release like I had not had in a long time.
"We have feelings for the girl," Artus said in my head.
"My Luna is not a human." I growled at him as I washed up from the release.
"Are you so sure? I felt something strange about her." He kept going.
"It was just out of worry. What is going to happen when she wakes up? Finding herself in a strange place. Surrounded by wolves?" I tried to reason with him.
Alexander the girl is awake. Hurry she is not happy. Riley's voice was in my head.
Great! Here we go new problems.

My head was hurting and my throat was dry. Had I hit my head? What had happened? I slowly open my eyes and the room I am in is fuzzy. As it comes into focus, I can see it is a hospital room. Why am I in a hospital? What was going on? I move my hand and feel a pull. I looked over to see a needle in my arm that was hooked to a bag on a stand.
"What the hell?" I croaked out. It didn't even sound like my voice. It was so gravelly.
Suddenly, a man came up beside me and was staring at me. Who was he? Why wasn't he saying anything? Why was he staring at me? I had so many questions but the way he was looking at me was keeping me quiet. He seemed to have an authoritative look that made me a little apprehensive. I needed to know where I was though. My foster parents were going to be so mad at me. I hadn't made it back with the groceries. I remember that I was going to the market and someone tried to grab me.
"Why did you take me? What do you want with me? Let me go I have nothing. I need to get back before they get mad at me." I try to sit up and the man puts his hand on my shoulder to hold me down. I pushed him and jumped out of bed. The needle in my arm ripped out and I faintly felt the pain of it tearing my skin. I ran towards the door and pulled it open. There was a large wall of a man standing outside of the room. Well, I am not getting out this way.
I turned to the window and run towards it. The man that was standing next to the bed grabbed me from behind and bear hugged me. I was kicking and trying to get out of his arms but he had me held very tight.
"Please stop. We aren't the ones that were chasing you." He softly said. He dragged me back to the bed and unceremoniously threw me on the bed. I tried to get up again and I heard the door open.
All I could do was stare at this man that was in the doorway. He was at least 6'2. With a broad frame. Not an ounce of fat on him. He had huge arms. His shirt was staining to not split as it fit him very tightly. His black hair was wet like he had just gotten out of a shower. His blue eyes were so beautiful. They were the color of the sky on a bright clear day. They seemed to bore into my mind. Like he could read my thoughts. I felt a tingle in my body from looking at him. He was growling at the man who had his hands on my shoulders holding me to the bed. Who was this Adonis?
