Rahg felt comfortable with Rhaven's precautions but stayed on edge. He feared another attack at any moment. Kella remained inside the shield, standing close to Rahg and Rhaven, her teeth still slightly bared, and her eyes alert. Rahg thought she looked bent on revenge, and though he questioned whether or not a vargel could harbor such feelings, he wouldn't want to be the first of those beasts to meet her. They were trapped in the camp throughout the rest of the day and had to make the most of it. Rhaven ordered a small fire to be built for cooking supper, but also to see how the beasts reacted to it.
