After getting up the next morning, I waited for Mike and Tina to go through their morning routine and get Mia off to school. I took my time getting dressed and freshening up for the day to give them time and for me to allow my confidence to grow a little bit more. Based on the conversation that I overheard last night, Mike was always going to be overprotective of me and a little overbearing, but it was time that I stood on my own two feet again. I wanted to go home, I wanted my own bed and I wanted to be there with Hunter right by my side. He offered to stay while I talked to them, but I decided that it would be better if I handled that part alone, so he offered to pick up some groceries and clean out all the expired food from my fridge.
