"Now what?"
We had left the Cantina and were now standing on the beach where Darlene had been. Sunshine had her hands up to her eyes, trying to keep the sun from blinding her as she looked first towards the main road and then down to the beach.
"Now we start looking. We have three places to go, and not a lot of time."
"Don't you think we should call Peter and Detective Byrd and wait for them?" she asked.
"I don't think we have time. Look how low the sun is in the sky already. We need to find Darlene before she makes a run for it. Whether she's got Tommy with her or not, we need to determine if she is here. I think we're on the right path.
