Chapter 30 We followed the path behind the back of the first two cottages. It was clear there had been somebody living in them recently. There were trash bags out by the back door, and the beach chairs were piled up neatly against the wall. As quietly as we could, we continued past the first and second cottage, before rounding out into the cove for the last three cottages. It was the end cottage that drew my attention.
