There are moments in life where I feel as if tragedy just likes to follow me wherever I go. Life just seems to throw tragedy at every corner that appears on my conquest in life. Right now....had to have been the worst one yet. Sebastian was asking Violet all these questions and the words were still being processed in my head.
Thalia in a crash. Thalia and Sebastian's mother in a crash. My baby girl in a crash.
It was all going through one ear and out the other and managing to come back and leave a permanent voice in my head. No mother ever wants to hear those words come out of someones mouth. No mother ever wants their child to go through pain or any kind of tragedy.
I saw Sebastian push past his pregnant sister in rage as he ran downstairs and started shouting orders. He slammed the front door and that's what snapped me out of my own little world. I rushed passed little Addy and her beautiful mother without trying to tear up and shout in anger at the thought of my daughter being hurt or even worse.
I opened the front door, dropped to my knees as I stepped outside and cursed at myself for the problems that I've now brought upon this pack. I knew the consequences of leaving but never would I have thought so much tragedy can be thrown at the pack within a few weeks. I would never wish for any of this to happen upon these beautiful creatures. Especially Sebastian. A man who is willing to protect me and my daughter through everything. He doesn't deserve this. And so don't his people. I don't belong here. Causing more tragedy to the people in which he has protected for so long.
"Isabella!" I looked up and saw Sebastian with a worried expression
"Where's my daughter?" I say wiping the tears off my face. He try's to take a hold of my arm and pick me up from where I am but I pull back and manage to get up by myself
"Hey! She's okay. She's gonna be okay. She's safe. They're back at the city hospital. We gotta go now." Relief is all I felt at the moment. I looked up apologetically and started walking towards his truck.
"Lets go."

She was safe they were both safe. Little bit of bruises from the seat belts that held them back from the ugly impact that took place. But what mattered most was that they were both safe. Its been four days since the accident and the pack was all but dull.
Thalia was asleep in mine and Sebastian's bed. She was snoring in her sleep and her eyelashes as black as ink were resting above her cute big plump cheeks. Sebastian was still in shock at the crash. The car was completely wrecked and instead of repairing it Sebastian thought it would be best to just buy her a new one. She had apologized and I accepted. After all it wasn't her fault. I knew who it was. But my mind didn't want to accept the fact that he had come back only to hurt her in the process.
I didn't want to leave Thalia alone in our room. So I picked her up and took her with me to Sebastian's office. I stomped my way towards his door, angry that he hasn't yet seen Thalia since we arrived here. I pushed open the door and saw the green eyed men with all their eyes on me. Sebastian looked up, his jaw clenched and his cheeks flaming red at me as if a meeting just wasn't happening between the warriors. They looked at me and bowed their heads in respect. I out of courtesy bowed mine and let them know there was no need for any of that.
"Leave" Sebastian commanded to his warriors and Troy. I moved out of the way as they excused themselves from Sebastian's office.
"What is it that you want Isabella?" he said sitting down and putting whatever it is they were pointing at away.
"What is it that I want? Is that really what you're going to ask me right now Sebastian!? I cannot believe you right now. I know that its been hard for you with all the deaths and tragic notes being left behind for you to keep up with but that doesn't mean you cant come and see me to talk. I am here for you and I need you to communicate with me, I am not only your mate or your luna Sebastian, I am also your friend. I have Visited your mother plenty of times in the past four days and I know your mom is important and I'm not trying to sound selfish because I've come to love your mom so much but set the s**t aside for once and get rest. You have a beta, you have warriors, you have allies, you have me Sebastian, to help get you through this. " By the time I was finished with my rant I was out of breath. I had Thalia In my arms and I was breathing so hard that my cheeks were red and I felt like I had ran a marathon trying to get my point across to a man that meant so much to me.
He sat silently as I kept on looking anywhere but at his beautiful I eyes that I so wanted to be captivated by. It was awkward and I didn't like it one bit. I knew that all this had taken such a big toll on him but I am by his side for a reason. I was still standing, biting my lip to stop the tears from breaking through because I would not let him see me like that. A weak, naive woman whom he thought I would run back to. I just wanted to hear him say everything would be okay. And that everything will get better. But that wasn't Sebastian for you.
"She's not mine"
I looked at him, his handsome features. The ruthless expression he had on his face at the moment. The bags under his eyes. The way his fist tightened as he said those words. I couldn't believe it. I was infuriated and hurt. I didn't know what to say so I didn't say anything.
I slammed the door so hard as I walked out and as I did I ran into Tristan. He looked down on me and had an expression that I couldn't quite pin point. I stepped aside so he can enter into his alphas office and as I was almost at the end of the hall Tristan with a stern and apologetic voice said
"He's lost"
After that I had no clue what to say about Sebastian. He's my mate. I could never hate him but at this exact moment all the memories had hit me all at once and I couldn't take it. I cried. I cried so hard that it was hard to breath. I cried so much that I felt at this exact moment that being here wasn't safe for me or my daughter. Nor was it safe for the people of the pack. The wolves that I am to protect with my mate, by his side. I didn't want to run anymore. I wanted to be safe but as of now running seemed like the best idea.

It was late. Three in the morning late. And I had been awake the whole time looking at my baby girl and wondering how one day she'll grow up to be a wonderful young woman with a courageous personality. Our belongings were all bagged up and I had sorted food aside for our journey yet again. I knew that warriors were being stationed outside around the perimeter but I had ran away enough times to know how to escape. It wasn't gonna be easy but for the sake of my daughter I couldn't have her here with a man in which didn't accept her as his. It would always be hard. For me for her and especially for him. Oh gosh. Especially him.
I had to leave. I couldn't stay. I got up from the bed and went towards the garage. Grabbed the keys and revived the engine. I wasn't quiet but I wasn't that loud either. As I approached the gate Troy was standing at his post. He stood there and stared at me. He allowed the gate to open and I was surprised.
His head was low as he bowed down and I took off not looking behind me.
Our destination was still complicated but I had to be safe with where we would stay. I had money and that's all that really mattered at the moment. I knew that it would be risky but Cole was back trying to find me thinking that I was under the protection of Sebastian. I would lose the car somewhere. Burn it and purchase a rental for the mean while.
I had cried all my way through wherever it was that we were going. On the road I could feel the connection between me and Sebastian. It was like a big knock on the head. He was trying to force his way in but I didn't let him. It hurt so much to know that he was coming in contact but I just kept on driving. I had thrown up a couple times along the way and as I did I didn't want to think anything of it.
I had to find a place because living in a hotel room to sleeping in the car rental was not an option anymore. I knew that there was packs scattered all around the world but I wasn't looking the be apart of a pack. I was looking to find safety for my kid.

It was late at night and I was walking out of a little diner and heading towards the car with a sleeping Thalia in my arms as I smelt something familiar. It was like cookies and pine trees and a little bit of dirty laundry. There was laughing as I got closer to the car.
"You thought you could run again?" the voice wasn't soft nor was it rough. It was more of a sarcastic voice with a hint of annoyance.
I was on alert as I didn't stop walking towards my beat up car that I had got after returning the rental. I buckled in Thalia and the voice didn't seem to shut up as I pretended that I didn't hear the woman trying to make her way towards me. I could feel her presence as she came in closer.
"You think that running is gonna solve your problems? He knows where you are Isabella we've been following you the whole way here. Watching you and your baby girl. His baby girl." she said as she leaned against the black old little volks wagon.
"I'm not scared. Of him or you; Mia." I said turning towards her direction and sneering at her as I spoke.
"You should be"
All color was wiped from my face. I felt like everything had stopped. I felt like I was falling in a deep black hole and it was eating me up like the way the waves of the ocean do to the rocks. His voice was nasty and he sounded so confident as if he had everything he'd ever wanted. Cole had a smirk on his face and his arms were crossed over his broad chest.
"Move" Mia said as she tried getting her way through to get to Thalia.
I slammed the door as her hand got caught and as she grabbed a hold of her hand from the pain, I slammed her head into the window as glass was getting stuck on her forehead and blood was gushing out everywhere. She clawed at me and managed to get my cheek in the process. She was still standing her tall high heels looked like they could kill. With my shoes I kicked in her right knee and she stumbled down as I kneed her in the face.
"You mutt!" she yelled as I smiled from above her
"This mutt just rui-" I was cut off with a hard hit to my head from behind and an even harder punch to my stomach
"Lights out Isabella."
