You ever dread waking up? You ever just not want to face the world and stay right where you are? My head hurt and so did my stomach. It was sore and I knew for a fact that it was bruised because every time I curled up into a ball it hurt. I knew I was on a bed. Coles scent was everywhere around the room. I was trying to be calm but it wasn't working. My baby was nowhere near me. I couldn't feel her, I couldn't sense her, and worst of all I couldn't see her. The room wasn't a mess it was just plain with white sheets splotches of blood were on it and the room had a little nightstand with a jet-black lamp that had designs on it. The door to the clean bedroom opened and in came Cole with Thalia in his arms. My eyes turned into slits and I looked over at Thalia making sure she wasn't harmed. She was asleep in his arms and I couldn't help but look at the features on his face. He didn't seem crazy from the last time that I seen him. His skin was smooth and his hair had been cut. He looked different, almost not crazy. His eyes stood out most and they weren't scary but I could see that something was behind them, not anger but it seemed like he knew something. His eyes said it all and frankly his calmness was freaking me out. "You're pregnant. Did you know that?" I didn't say anything. I simply looked at Thalia sleeping peacefully in her monster of a fathers arms. Being pregnant with Sebastian's baby isn't what sacred me. What scared me was Coles eyes that displayed a ton of a emotions after he said those three words. He was more than just a werewolf, he was a monster. He had my baby in his arms and I felt like I couldn't do anything about it. He growled at me and I looked at him with anger in my eyes. His eyes were as red as blood as he held Thalia closer to his chest. "YOU'RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE!" The veins on his neck were bulging and I couldn't help myself but think 'What would happen if I tore his neck apart.' It wasn't a good thought but knowing harm would come to him made me feel better. After everything he had done to me. All those years that he put me through to make me feel unwanted, useless, and most of all ripped apart to pieces that it felt as if no one could ever possibly fix. I didn't flinch at the way he yelled at me. I had enough. With all the running and yelling. I looked at him dead in the eyes and my brown eyes couldn't hold themselves back anymore. They turned jet black. I gripped the white bedsheets. My nails ripping the fabric and tearing the sheets apart. I threw the pillows and they crashed beside me hitting the lamp and breaking the bulb inside. The sound of the lightbulb crashing to the floor woke up Thalia. She stirred and I saw her eyes open and it calmed me down. I was breathing hard and I was still on top of the bed looking directly at her. "Now now Isabella, you don't want to make her cry do you?" Cole said smiling at me and then looking down at her. She didn't know what he looked like so when she saw his face I could sense her alertness towards him. She could sense a whole lot of things even if she was just a pup. I stood there not knowing how to get out of the situation. The door opened and in came Mia. Her entire face was bruised up and worst of all on the middle of her forehead she had a little scars of the glass when I had smashed her face into the glass window of my beat up car. Yes we heal a little faster than most humans but it still takes time to be able to recover from something like that. I didn't smirk. I just looked at her injuries and couldn't help but think that she deserved it, she deserved every bit of it. Cole looked at her differently when she walked in. Like the way Sebastian looked at me. I didn't know if the way he looked at her was real. But It seemed like there was something so much more between them then whatever we had when we were together. She went up to him and kissed his cheek. It was a simple kiss nothing over exaggerated to try and make me jealous. It was all innocent. I couldn't tear my eyes from both of them. How could he possibly have a mate? I knew I wasn't his mate from the beginning but I knew that we didn't have two mates. No way in hell. Especially him out of everyone who deserved to be happy like Sebastian's mom. She's the one person who needed someone by her side to be able to help her with everything that she's been through. "I don't understand." I say so confused at the thought of both them yet curious as to why he was given two mates. "Me neither" he says not looking at me. He still had Thalia in his arms not harming her in anyway simply just carrying her as if he really thought that we would stay here with him and his psycho of a mate. "What is it that you want from us?" I say looking at him as Mia turns around at the same time. "Its not you that I want, its her. You're just the bait." he says as his head looks down on Thalia. With that he turns around with Thalia in his arms and Mia holding on to his hand as they walk out of the room. I hear locks on the other side and from there their footsteps drown into the hall where it goes silent. I lay there on the bed. Glass shattered and the sheets now a mess from my little rage. I didn't cry I just sat and thought about how stupid it was to leave. How stupid of me to be so selfish and know that another pup was growing inside of me. But more importantly to know that the alpha whose pup I was caring, cherished me and made me feel like everything was actually normal for once.
