“What are you doing out here?”
I titled my head back to see Alex, standing with a cardigan and pants. Apparently he must have changed from his formal attire to this when I was deep in thought.
“ Nothing that concerns you. Or is it a crime now to come to the balcony?” I asked , folding my hands in front of my chest.
“ You didn't have to be rude, I was just asking a harmless question” he responded, and I immediately felt bad for what I said.
I was just tired, exhausted, angry and sorry for myself at the same time. Everything just seems too much for me and it makes me question my intelligence and decisions.
