Alpha Vortex of shadow fangs pack, cuddled up with his true mate in their newly refurbished bedroom, grateful to the moon goddess for finding his true mate. He was initially betrothed to a she-wolf whom had the qualities to make a good luna. He had no choice but to accept because he had exceeded his time limit to find his mate.

He watches her sleep and joy feels his heart all over again. He was just about to go back to sleep when the doors barged open and the priestess of the pack charges into his bed chambers with her eyes filled with fear and desperation, she looked like she had ran miles to get there.

“Alpha!!……he…is….coming!!child!!!….danger!!!!……pack!!!…..trouble!!” She spoke hyperventilating, and suddenly crashed on the couch by the edge of the room while trying to catch her breath.

“Priestess Sabrina!!!, how dare you run into my bed chambers by this time?!” Alpha Vortex remarks angrily to have his pleasant Morning ruined by her barging in.

“My Alpha, please be calm…..I’m pretty sure she has a good reason for coming up at such hour” luna Nyra said trying to get hold of the situation. She herself did not fancy being awoken like this, she was having the most pleasant dream where she had her baby and they were both playing around. She could sense the urgency of what brought the priestess charging into her bedroom.

“Take a deep breath and tell us what brought you here. You’ve never acted like this before”, Luna said to the priestess while covering her with a warm blanket.

“Luna” sabrina said filled with emotion and a glossy look in her eyes, stable enough to talk “ You two months gone with child and it’s a girl, a she-wolf unlike any other. But she is in grave danger and we do not have alot of time, Alpha Gabriel’s spies are enroute to this estate as we speak!”.

“GABRIEL, YOU BASTARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

“Impossible!!!!…..what???……..howww???…..whyyy??????”

Both Alpha and Luna say simultaneously, Vortex in complete rage as he trashed the bed front couch and it smashes to pieces against the wall. Nyra feels a wave of nausea as her mouth trembles and a deep sitted fear settling in.

“Answer me!!, how did you get this information?, why is he coming after my child?, what does she have to do with him????”.

Questions poured from the Alpha as he collected himself and realized the strength of the looming danger ahead. Alpha Gabriel is not one to be bluffed on, They once were friends many years ago. He knows how capable the other Alpha was and the lengths he could go without seconds thought. He also knows that the priestess would not make such accusations lightly without prove.

“My Alpha, I was asleep when I went into a trance and I found myself in the scared Woods of the hunters Pack right in the middle of the Aurbai Ritual that happened last night. The high Priestess was revealing to the Alpha Gabriel and his Luna that their unborn wolf is to Fulfil the prophecy of the Urklain, Red Moon and his true mate is the baby in Luna Nyra’s womb. After it was declared, Alpha Gabriel was in a blood rage and he asked what could be done to change the true mate fate of his son, He was told that unless the wolf was never born then the mark of the true mate would shift to another pack and family”. Sabrina heaved a deep sigh, just grateful to get it off her chest since she woke up.

“I’m gonna kill him, I’m gonna get that twisted son of a mistake wolf and grind his bones and feed them to the hyenas!!!!” Vortex said, he’s faced contoured with vengeance.

“Vortex, we need to act fast and act now!, I’m not going to wait for some crazy maniac to come steal my baby from me. I can’t believe I didn’t realize that I’m pregnant and I don’t have the luxury of celebrating this news.” Nyra cries out, still in disbelief of the whole situation.

Sirens suddenly began blaring and voices of the patrol could be heard through the General Mind link .

“Breach!! Breach!!! Breach!!!”

“South west corner of the barrier!”

“Barrier is down!!, i repeat BARRIER IS DOWN!!”

“All units are advised, prepare for defense!, It’s an ambush!, activate code 118!!. All units back up needed at all corners of the barrier!!!”

“Aldridge- Go for call, contact the Alpha, Beta, Omega, Gamma”

“We are on shakedown!!”

Alpha Vortex takes large steps to his closet, pulls a levy down and AI system initiates lock down on his estate. He knew his enemies would never stop trying to get him so he upgraded his estate to become and fortress incase anyone was able to get past the pack barriers. Prior to today, he’s pack was deemed one of the safest packs in the world despite their small population. Low crime rates and all, he intended to keep it that way for a very long time but today things have changed.

“Change your clothes now and follow me.”

He commanded both his Luna and Sabrina the priestess. While they obeyed, he quickly went to the bookshelf and pulled a book and the shelf moved aside revealing what looks like a tea room and he heads to the doors opposite him which revealed to be an elevator which him, his Luna and Sabrina all entered and it went down. It led them to an underground garage with all types of vehicles, ammunitions and gadgets the rest of the world knows nothing about. If the situation were different, Nyra would be in awe of the entire place but at the moment, she is more concerned for the safety of her new family.

“I will protect you, with my life” Vortex tells his luna, through the mate mind link.

“I’m so scared” she replied. He could feel everything she was feeling. Her fear, her anger, her doubt, her rage. “What if we don’t make it out on time? I don’t want to lose you when I just got you”.

“Just trust me okay, we’re gonna make it and you will carry our baby to term”. He said sending her waves of assurance through the mate bond.

Vortex rushes into his mini office and collects the keys to his super bulletproof cyber truck modified 101. The car was bulletproof, move at 200mph, armed for combat amongst other things. It was the best option while under attack. He had already contacted his sister whom would be meeting them at the edge of the north side of the park barrier. If there was anyone who could disappear without a trace unless wants to be found was his sister. She’s the reason he survived the last war.

He takes his Luna and Sabrina and they all boarded the vehicle and zoomed off with the speed of almost 5 G-force down the dark road till they came out of a hidden road that had the optical illusion of a dead end.

“Hey Elise, arm cyber truck !” Gabriel says to the car AI system

“Cyber truck armed, Weapons ready to ENGAGE “

Just then, a round of shots could be heard from behind them. Looking at the rear view mirror to see two jeeps moving with speed, slowing trying to gain on them. Passengers at the back and front seats with automatic rifles while one at the sun roof with a machine gun.

F**LS!” Alpha Vortex said with a dark laugh. “Hey Elise, automatic drive!, come take over the drivers seat….gotta take out those fools behind us”.

On that he jumps out of the driver seat to the back seat while his Luna takes over the drivers seat. He then opens the middle of the arm rest and takes out a tab and began firing at the cars behind him.

He sends a flying grenade to the first car and it blows it off the road. The second car was bulletproofed, so he released tire spikes which took out all the tires of the car, causing the driver to lose control and they swirled and the car tumbled and landed upside down. He whined down the glass, looked back and smiled.

Five minutes later, they get to the north side barrier and he sees his sisters Pink G-Wagon, He rolled his eyes as he approached.

“For a mission as dangerous as this, I expected you to drive something…. less noticeable”. He scoffed. “You’re lucky I’m in a good mood else I would have ripped those ears off that big head of yours”. She replied with a smirk.

“Big C, their lives are in your hands….please take good care of them. After our baby is born, I will notify you when it is safe to bring them back okay?” He said eyes pleading with her while both women exchanged cars.

His Elder sister mostly known as Big C is an Army vet whom rejected the Alpha role because back then the wolf community wasn’t ready to accept a woman as their leader despite how the world had changed. She opted to become a soldier and left their country to the mundane world to serve other human countries and fought their own wars. Being a wolf gave her superior abilities and was quickly respected by all who came her way. Big C has a crazy personality and you never know what next to expect from her but in all was a good soul and prioritized family more than anything. So when her baby brother explained everything and told her about the invasion of the pack, she didn’t hesitate to make her way to their base though she was five thousand miles away. Luckily for her, she is also a billionaire and has her own hanger where she took the Black Hawk and flew down to pick them up.

“she’s in good hands and you know it” she said to Vortex assuring him of their safety. “Two things, first I will be the one to contact you when I know your pack is safe. Secondly, you definitely have silent spies in your pack and I’m afraid they penetrated deep into your soldiers and ranks. Your pack is not safe until you expunge them all”.

“I’m not surprised dear sister but there isn’t any time right now, please take them away. I’m picking up readings that more of Gabriel’s Men are coming this way.” His GPS and satellite for the pack were blaring warning signs. “You have to go now!!”

Nyra didn’t want to go without him.

“ Won’t you come with us?”

She was already in tears and it broke his heart but he knew he had to stay and fight and make sure his pack are safe before his wife and child can come back.

“No Nyra, I have to protect my pack. Trust me there’s no one else I’d rather keep you with, knowing that you are safe and sound with her. Once the coast is clear, I promise to bring you back okay? Sabrina will keep you company and protect you with the help of the moon goddess. Now go!!! They are right behind us”.

And with that, Big C drove towards the Black Hawk while Vortex stayed behind heart broken but vengeful with rage that could kill ten men at once.
