Their Infinity

Chapter 3

Ananya's POV:

      "Hey, watch while you walk", he said. Excuse me, my subconscious chided. He was the one who bumped into me because he was standing so close to me and now he is giving me knowledge. I wanted to give him a nice shouting but I stopped when I heard someone call out my name. It was my best friend Vaishnavi. I forgot about the arrogant man and started moving towards Vaish.

        But I couldn't move further because my saree got stuck in that stupids cufflink. It was such a Bollywood moment but I didn't enjoy it for a second also. I rushed towards him and started to untie the end of the saree. I was doing it peacefully when he started nagging, "I don't understand why you girls where all this stuff when you can't handle it". Now I was seriously pissed at him. And this stupid saree was not coming out either. In the next second, he just jerked his hand away and my saree tore. I literally had tears in my eyes and this arrogant man stood there with no remorse. 

         I started shouting at him, " You arrogant piece of s**t. This was a gift and you spoilt it. I will never forgive u for this" , i wasn't finished speaking when he removed some cash and threw it on my face. " You want money na, take. Just dont create a scene here. I am well aware of ur type of women. You all just need money and can do anything to get it", he said everything in a burst. I just stood there shocked in disbelief. How can someone be so merciless and full of himself. 

          The very next moment, I took vermillion from the temple counter and smeared it on his blazer. He stood there with a shocked expression.  I then picked up the money that he threw at me and placed it in his hand and said, " Get ur blazer dry cleaned with this money". He was looking at me with hateful eyes but he didn't say anything and left from there. Vaish came towards me running and wiped my tears. I didn't even realize I was crying. " Hey, stop crying. What did he say?", she asked me. I just wiped my tears and asked her to forget about it. I tried to forget about him and moved towards the water to take the blessings of the sun god. I was half way in water when I heard someone shout help.
