Their Infinity

Chapter 19

Abhay's POV:

         I started driving towards our destination. She had not eaten anything over there. So I thought of taking her to my favourite dhaba. I also wanted to do this because of the way she said good things about me to Veer. It made me feel happy. She took my side behind my back inspite of me giving her a tough time. 

        While driving, i noticed how she was glancing at me again and again wanting to know where we were going, curious minx that she is! After a silence of half an hour we reached there. I went out and saw that she was still inside the car. I taunted her and then she came behind me.

        I knew the dhaba owner. I used to often come here. But I always came alone. So this time when he came to take the order,  he was surprised seeing some company. I nudged him to be quiet. I told him to get my regular order and get two servings because I knew Ananya was seriously starving. 

        After my friend went, she started to irk me. She thought that I would react aggressively. But my casual answer surprised her. As soon as the food arrived, she started savouring it like an hungry lioness. She left a small moan after having the first bite. And that left me imagining things that were not that good. I decided not to irritate her more and told her that I knew that she had rejected that r* scal's offer. And left her gaping at me.

         I went towards my friend and then he asked, " So, who is this girl haa. You have never brought any girl with you here. And the way you look at her. Is there anything I need to know." I just shrugged my shoulder. I didn't want to accept anything because I had not accepted it to myself first. And then he said, " Pease don't throw away the chance to be happy because of your past. Give a chance to yourself. She looks like a sweet girl." 

        Saying all this he handed me a kulfi and told me to give it to her. I told him bye and clearing all the bills left towards Ananya. By the time I reached there, Ananya had finished all the food. Damn, she was really hungry I guess!

         Looking at kulfi in my hand she got all the more excited. One hell of a glutton she was! And then she said the cutest of things that melted my cold heart. When i was about to say no she just put that damn thing in my mouth. I hated sweets but this time it tasted like the best thing I have ever eaten. 

          And then what she did next just turned me on. She wiped the kulfi off my lips and licked her finger. Though she did it unintentionally but it really hit the right cords. And then she offered me two more bites as she had promised.

         I wanted to spend more with her. How would I keep her around. Then an idea struck me. I stopped towards a jewellery store. She asked me why and I told her that I wanted to gift my sister something. But the real reason was that I wanted to spend some time with her. But how would I tell her that. Then we went inside and I told her to select something. I looked around and saw a beautiful set of anklets. It reminded me of her. I told the saleswoman to gift pack the anklet and send it along with the other stuffs to my home.  

       Ananya gave the awesome idea of a pendant with mine and Puchki's photo in it. Ordering the manager to do the needful I left from there. Thinking of spending more time with Ananya I decided to take the longer route. As soon as i shifted to the other lane, Ananya started panicking. She was finding it difficult to breathe. I really didn't know how to comfort her. So I stopped the car aside. She opened the door and left gasping for some air. 

        I couldn't see her in this condition. I really needed to divert her mind to something else. So i did the first thing that came to my mind. I crashed my lips on her. They were soft and supple as I had imagined them to be. She still had that kulfi taste lingering on her lips. At first she didn't move but later she realized and then pushed me with all her might. 

         I was about to stumble because I was caught off guard but I maintained myself. Then she started sobbing loudly and uttered some words angrily. When I heard that it was her first kiss, I felt really very nice. I know I am twisted but I want to have her all for myself.  All her firsts should be with me. She was becoming my obsession. 

         I told her that I didn't do it intentionally which I would have loved to do. I explained her how I wanted to divert her mind. And then she started relaxing 

         She told me that something happened here 3 years ago. It was strange because three years ago even I had experienced something. I was returning from a party. I told her everything. 

        She just became silent at my revelation and asked me to drop her home. I decided not to speak anything further. I dropped her at her house and sped away. 

         My phone rang and it was my dad's reminding me about the flight. 

         So I started moving towards the airport. The flight arrived 10 mins later. And there were Puchki and her mother. Puchki hugged me tightly and asked me if I missed her. " Ofcourse, I missed u Puchki.  You are one of my reasons to live. How could I not miss you. Now come home fast. There is a gift waiting for you" I told her lovingly. 

         " Gift. I know your gifts bhai. It might be some kind of stationary stuff only. Last time you remember you gifted me a calculator. Who gifts a calculator," she said grumpily.

         I chuckled and said, " Don't worry. This time you will like the gift."

         Saying so,  I took their stuffs and put in the car. I had already told the driver to get a different car. Puchki's mom left with the driver in the other car and puchki came with me in my car.

          As we reached home the gift had already reached there. Puchki rushed towards it and opened it. Looking at the pendant she had tears in her eyes. " Bhai this is the best gift ever. Nothing is more special to me than you. And you are there in this gift. I love it. Thank you so much  i will never separate it from me". Then Puchki saw that there was one more gift in the bag. " Bhai, You bought two gifts for me?"

          Befire I could say anything she opened it and saw anklets. " I guess this is come by mistake. Because you very well know that I don't like anklets."

         " Yes Puchki. They might have sent it by mistake. Give it to me. I will take care of it" 

         She didn't dig any further and went to meet dad along with her mother. I released my breath which I didn't even know I was holding. 

         I looked at the anklet and her memory came rushing by.
