Miss D falls
Chapter One: Miss D Falls
The sound of shooting echoed all around. Cars chased one another through the streets, the air thick with tension, as two rival gangs tried to take each other down. D was shooting at the rival g**g from the window of her car, having already taken five of them out.
"Take them from behind. What are you doing?" she shouted.
"Don't worry, Miss D, we're on it," her men answered.
"Ahh, I'll do it myself. I have to end their king."
She lifted her arm to shoot the rival mafia boss, but before she could fire, a bullet struck her chest.
"God damn it, we have to get mam to the hospital immediately!" one of her men shouted. Four of them rushed her to the hospital while the others stayed behind, still fighting the rivals. One of them called their boss — Miss D's brother — and told him what had happened.
"What the hell? God damn it, you couldn't even protect her? What were you doing, huh?!" the boss shouted, making them flinch. "Take her to the hospital immediately. I'm coming too."
"Don't worry, boss, we've already taken mam to the hospital."
"Hm. Okay."
He called his three brothers as well, and they all rushed to the hospital — but couldn't find her there.
"Where is D?" the boss demanded.
The receptionist bowed. "Boss, mam isn't here."
"The hell — where is she then?" He called his men. "Where is D? You didn't take her to the hospital?"
"Boss, we took her to National Hospital."
"The hell — why?"
"Our hospital was too far from there, boss, so we took her to the nearest one. She took a bullet to the chest — it was critical."
"And who gave you permission to make that decision yourselves?"
"Sorry, boss."
"Ahh — we have to go to National Hospital now," he said to his three brothers.
THE WILLIAMS FAMILY
In the heart of London stood a family whose name carried more weight than a crown.
The Williams family had been part of the underworld for generations. Their empire had not been built overnight. It had been inherited, expanded, protected, and passed down through blood. For decades, the Williams name had been whispered in London's darkest circles with equal parts fear and respect.
They were not merely a mafia family.
They were an empire.
Their headquarters was the magnificent Williams Mansion, a heavily guarded estate hidden behind enormous iron gates and surrounded by private land. The mansion was more than a home—it was the center of their operations, where important decisions were made and where enemies were never allowed to enter without permission.
Their wealth was almost impossible to calculate.
They owned their own private hospital, numerous properties and businesses across London, more than twenty luxury cars, private jets, expensive horses, and estates scattered across different parts of the country. Their legitimate businesses gave them influence in the world of the wealthy, while their underground empire gave them power where laws could not reach.
They were billionaires by every measure, but money was never their greatest weapon.
Power was.
And at the center of it all stood five siblings.

ANGELO WILLIAMS — 32
The Mafia King
The eldest Williams brother.
The man who ruled the entire empire.
Angelo Williams was a name that could silence an entire room.
At thirty-two, he was already known throughout London's underworld as the Mafia King. No one dared to challenge his orders. No one questioned his decisions. And those who did rarely got the opportunity to make the mistake twice.
Angelo was cold, disciplined, calculating, and terrifyingly intelligent. He rarely raised his voice because he never needed to. His calmness was often more frightening than anger.
There was also one mystery surrounding him.
No one outside his family had ever seen his face.
Since the day Angelo entered the mafia world, he had kept his identity hidden behind a mask. His enemies knew his name. They knew his reputation. They knew the consequences of crossing him.
But they did not know his face.
And Angelo intended to keep it that way.
Only his family knew the man behind the mask.
To the rest of the world, he was simply the shadow that ruled the Williams empire.

KAI WILLIAMS — 30
The Sniper
The second eldest brother.
Kai was the silent weapon of the Williams family.
A highly skilled sniper and sharpshooter, he possessed extraordinary precision and patience. He didn't need to be close to his target to be dangerous.
He was observant, controlled, and rarely acted without thinking.
While Angelo was the king who gave the orders, Kai was one of the men trusted to make sure those orders were carried out.
His loyalty toward his family was absolute.
If Angelo was the face of the empire's authority, Kai was one of its most dangerous weapons.

LLOYD WILLIAMS — 27
The Brains
The third brother.
Lloyd was the mind behind the machinery.
A brilliant hacker with an exceptional understanding of technology, information, surveillance, and digital security, he could uncover secrets that people believed were buried forever.
Cameras, databases, phones, security systems, financial records—nothing remained completely hidden from Lloyd for long.
He was not the strongest physically, nor did he need to be.
His intelligence was his weapon.
While others handled matters in the physical world, Lloyd controlled the information that allowed the Williams family to stay several steps ahead of everyone else.
In a family built on power, Lloyd represented something equally dangerous:
knowledge.

DIANA WILLIAMS — 25
The Only Sister
The youngest of the Williams siblings and the only daughter.
Diana was anything but fragile.
A trained sharpshooter and skilled spy, she could move through dangerous situations without drawing attention to herself. She knew how to observe, gather information, and disappear before anyone realized she had been there.
She had grown up surrounded by three powerful brothers, and the world of the mafia had never allowed her the luxury of being treated like a helpless princess.
Yet, beneath the strength she had developed, Diana still possessed a side of herself that had not completely surrendered to the darkness surrounding her family.
She was loyal to her brothers.
She was protective of them.
And despite everything she had been taught, a part of her still wondered what life might have looked like if she had been born into an ordinary family.
But Diana Williams was still a Williams.
And in their world, even the gentlest heart could become dangerous when pushed too far.
Together, the four siblings formed the heart of the Williams empire.
Four different strengths.
Four different personalities.
One bloodline.
One name.
JOSHUA WILLIAMS — 23
The Rebel
The youngest of the Williams siblings.
Joshua had always been different from the rest of them.
While his brothers learned to follow orders, Joshua learned to question them. While the others accepted the family legacy as their destiny, he refused to believe that his bloodline had the right to decide the course of his life.
He was the only Williams who never truly bowed to Angelo.
Not because he wasn't afraid of him.
But because Joshua simply didn't believe anyone had the right to control him.
Their arguments were legendary within the mansion. Angelo could command an entire army with a single word, yet Joshua was the one person who could look him directly in the eyes and refuse.
At eighteen, Joshua finally walked away.
He left the Williams Mansion without asking for permission, without explaining where he was going, and without making any promises about returning.
That was five years ago.
He was twenty-three now.
And no one knew where he was.
Perhaps the strangest part was that no one had tried hard enough to find out.
Angelo never sent his men after him.
Kai never tracked him.
Lloyd never hacked into the systems that could have revealed his location.
Maybe they all understood that Joshua had chosen his freedom—and for once, they were willing to let him have it.
Or perhaps, deep down, they knew something they never admitted aloud:
Joshua was the only one who had been brave enough to leave.
He had escaped the mansion, the rules, the expectations, and the darkness that came with the Williams name.
But wherever he was now, one thing remained unchanged.
Joshua Williams was still a Williams.
And if he ever returned to London, he would be the only person in the entire family who could stand before the Mafia King without lowering his head.
Because Joshua had never bowed to Angelo.
And he never intended to start.
You never fight one Williams.
You fight all of them.
Their parents are dead. After that, Angelo became the boss, and all his younger siblings follow his orders without question. In the city, they're known as a successful business family — no one suspects they're a mafia family underneath. They have their own hospital where all injured mafia members and their workers are taken, even when they're merely sick. But this time, seeing the severity of her condition, the men took Diana to National Hospital instead. No one outside the family knows their real names — Angelo is simply called "boss," and the others go by their initials. They live together in their mansion in London: an all-black house full of servants, with every luxury imaginable. Just one thing is missing — love and affection. That doesn't mean they don't love each other at all. Right now, every one of them is worried about Diana.
"Ah, I want to kill that bastard right now," Kai said.
"Control yourself. We'll deal with him — in fact, I'll handle this matter myself," Angelo said. "I shouldn't have given the mission to Diana in the first place. She wasn't ready for it."
Meanwhile, at National Hospital —
"Dr. Adams, there's a critical case. A woman, twenty-five years old, took a bullet to the chest," a nurse said.
"Okay, I'll see her," Dr. Adams replied. They rushed her to the emergency ward and began surgery immediately.
The Williams brothers arrived just as they learned what had happened. Lloyd, the second-youngest, was on the verge of tears.
"Control yourself, Lloyd," Angelo said. "Nothing will happen to her. She has Williams blood in her."
Three hours later, the surgery was a success, and Dr. Adams came out of the operating room.
