"Ariel? What are you doing here?" She looks at him dumbfounded. " I just wanted to check up on you. That day of the ball you looked angry and confused." He says with pity in his eyes. " Was I? I don't really remember what happened that night." She pretended to be blank and Ariel studies her intently. " Are you sure you don't remember anything?" He asks Lisa looking a little bit confused. "No.. Nothing at all. Was it something bad? Don't tell me I made a fool of myself in front of everyone." She acts to be terrified by the thought. "It's nothing really. You didn't make a full of yourself. I just wanted to check up on you that's all." Lisa could clearly see the look of relief in his eyes. "I hope so. I don't want people staring and laughing at me. Please come in." She allows him to enter the room. She sits on the sofa and Lisa joins him. "Don't worry about it. So how are you feeling today?" He asked and Lisa lowered her eyes. "Nothing.. I'm fine." She said. "C'mon you can tell me anything." He shifts closer to her as he puts his arm around her shoulder. Lisa looks away hesitant but Ariel pushes her to tell him. "C'mon maybe I can help." He says and she finally looks at him. "I'm not really sure anyone can help." She gave him a look of disappointment. "Try me." He said. "It's Lucifer." Ariel looked stunned a little and a bit angry too but he was able to pull himself together and was prepared to listen to her. "Has he been bothering you?" His intense gaze made Lisa shiver for a moment. "Kind of.. I'm just wondering why does he hate me so much?" Ariel sighed and looked up to her face. "Don't stress too much about that guy. He's an arrogant demon, filled with pride and prejudice. He just likes seeing others suffer. Just don't mind him." He says comforting her. " Do you really know why he's that way?" She asked. " Besides the fact that he's a demon and his father is a ruler of hell?" He mockingly questioned. " I've never heard about his mother. Does he have one?" For a moment Ariel looks at her skeptical but he answers anyway. " His mother died." "Really? That's sad. What happened?" She gave in a really sad face. " A war. She was killed right after giving birth to him." He says though he seemed to careless about Lucifer's childhood trauma. "That's so sad. It could be why he's such a jerk. To lose at such a young age isn't so easy to deal with it." " You're so gullible aren't you?" He snorts. " Lucifer is just Lucifer. It doesn't have anything to do with his mother, the guy is born to be a jerk. He couldn't careless that his mother died." He says. " Well I was just curious. Hopefully soon or later he will leave me alone." She sighed. " Hopefully. Just don't pay too much attention to him." He says and Lisa nodded. They stay to chat for a little while. Until it was late Ariel went back to his place. Lisa laid on her bed , wondering how long does she have to act like she doesn't know anything. She just takes a long nap and luckily it was peaceful and didn't have any strange dreams. She woke up in the morning and prepared for class. She bids bella farewell and she went to her usual classroom. Sariel glared at her as she walked in. "So nice of to finally show up." He said as he blazed in anger. Of cause Lisa missed yesterday's class, while she was off for a ride in hell. "I'm sorry Archangel Sariel." She apologetically looks at him but he only gets angrier. "Go get yourself a sit." He ordered and Lisa immediately went to her usual place. "Hey Jane." She waves at her and she Waves back . Soon the lecture started. Sariel started going through some really old and boring stuff. She listened though her mind would often wonder back to Aminil. So enough the lesson was over and Lisa was a but relieved. Her and Jane got up and went for lunch. "So how have you been?" Lisa checked up on Jane. " Nothing much really." She replied. "What about you? What have you been up to?" She asked. " Nothing really. I just needed a break yesterday. You know sometime it seems like you are getting comfortable here and then all of the sudden things seem to change. This place is somewhat confusing." Lisa responded. " I know right. There are so many things to adjust to. You learn something new everyday. I feel like a little kid just learning her first steps." " Tell me about it. Everything is new, everything is strange and it's really hard to just accept it all. You know Sometimes I really miss home." " It's really easy to miss home in such a weird place. Sometimes it makes you feel like you're just an out cast. Like you're in a world you don't belong." " You have no idea." Lisa sighs. After all that's exactly how she felt. Like she had shown up in a world she doesn't belong. Like everything happening is just a mistake. They both walk to find their usual place to sit. They sit down and start having something to eat. "Anyways besides the things that make us feel we don't belong here, what do you truly love about this place?" Lisa started a conversation. " Well maybe the fact that I can be very powerful one day. I never really got the chance to prove myself at home, do sometimes I feel like this is a second chance for me to prove myself. To prove that I'm worth something." At their surprise someone out of nowhere starts clapping. "Wow. Wonderful speech Jane." Jane looks at him scared while Lisa was glaring at him. "You undergrads are so simple. Always thinking everything is about you. Though I have to admit it's quite funny when you realize you were wrong all along." " What do you want Lucifer?" She gritted her teeth as she threw daggers at him. He just chuckles and Lisa is infuriated even more by his arrogance. "I'm just congratulating one of your friends. Am I not allow to congratulate your friends?" He shrugged. " I'm not in the mood for your nonsense today. If you would please go bother someone else." She says and she looks at Jane she could see in her eyes that she was begging her to stop. "Someone woke on the wrong side of the bed I see. If you don't want me bothering you, I'll just bother you friend…Jane." Jane's eyes immediately popped wide open like she's just seen a ghost. "If you're bothering Jane, you're technically bothering me because she's my friend. So leave us alone." He than chuckles and Lisa was flaring with anger every minute of it. "I see. So the weak must stick together." " What do want Lucifer?" She stares at him deeply. He sighs and looks back at her. "I wanted to apologize for yesterday." Both Lisa and Jane looks at him shocked out of their minds. Lisa never really expected to hear that from him. She seriously looks at him for a moment and Lisa starts laughing so hard, both Lucifer and Jane were so confused. Lisa didn't stop laughing that everyone started paying serious attention to them. He might have not meant it but he was getting annoyed by Lisa's sudden ignorance. "Well I didn't know I was such a funny man." She glares at Lisa who was dying with laughter. "Me too. Have you considered starting stand up comedy back in hell?" She starts banging the table almost chocking as she laughed. Lisa really enjoyed the look on his face as he was getting annoyed by the way she teased him. Well it was worth it for the moment. "Lisa!" Jane glared at her asking her to stop. "Look I don't know what move you're trying to pull here but if you think I was stupid enough to believe you then you must go and recheck your theories. I'm not that gullible to fall for your lies." Lisa replied. " Well then I'm quite disappointed my plan seem to have failed. Maybe I just have to use plan B then." He wickedly smirks which made Lisa immediately uneasy. "How about my room? I'm sure you'd like to dance for me. I got a few poles, seems like you can work your way around them." He whisperers with a smirk in his face. Lisa immediately boiled with anger when she realized he was mocking her. He was mocking her job back on earth when she worked as a stripper in his so-called clubs. It really angered her, that she spilled her whole drink in his clothes. He didn't try to avoid it as he usually does, he just let the content spill all over him. Lisa was quite shocked, as he only curled his lips. Everyone in the room gasps, literally everyone. For that moment Lisa started to regret her decision. "Aren't you tired of harassing the poor girls?" Michael finally arrived when they needed him most. "My job is done here. See you around ladies." He gets up from his chair, puts on sunglasses that Lisa didn't even know where they came from. He starts leaving headed to the door, he stops for a moment and shoots Lisa an angry glare. She could spot his red angry eyes beyond his shades, making Lisa swallow nervously. She knew Lucifer wouldn't be leaving her alone anytime soon. "Don't mind him." He said sitting down. " Easy for you to say. You are not afraid of him and he doesn't bully you." Lisa replied. " The exact reason you shouldn't be pissing him off. Instead you should be ignoring him." Jane angrily protested. " Cool off ladies. Let's just forget about him for a second. Anyways Lisa how are you feeling, you didn't look so good when I saw you in the hallway." He looked really concerned. " Yeah I'm fine. I over reacted a little. I shouldn't believe everything I hear but now I'm fine." She assured Michael. " Well I was worried they might have scared you." He said. " Well for the moment but I realized it was just foolishness." Lisa said. Then their conversation is interrupted by a tall figure besides them. "I see you are enjoying your company." The lady said with really cold eyes.
