The Ticklish Pond.

Later than day Lisa was sitting besides the window of the academy. She was watching as the sun was setting. It was nothing like back in earth. The sun was not actually setting but rather disappearing. Even with the sun she could also see the stars. The view was rather beautiful and very relaxing.
"What are thinking about." She heard a deep voice with the flapping of wings besides her.
"Ariel? What are doing here?" Lisa immediately snapped back to reality well only if you can call it that.
"Well I was passing by and saw you sitting here all by yourself. Looked like something was bothering you... so I came to check up on you."
" Thanks but I'm fine."
" Follow me." He said already walking away.
" What?"
He only offered his hand and said nothing. Lisa got up from where she was sitted moving towards him.
"I want to show you something."
"But I can't fly." Lisa was kind of embarrassed by her statement.
He laughs then does a small whistle. Then a dragon comes flying right next to him.
"I think he can give us a ride." He starts petting the dragon.
" C'mon he won't bite." He smiled already climbing on the dragons back. Acting whatever he was doing was pretty much normal.
She hesitated but finally climbed on the dragon back. It starts souring to clouds. The fluffy clouds were tickling Lisa's skin. The view down below was really beautiful and so alive. The flowers , the trees and grass looking very colorful. Like literally colorful. Purple grass , pink trees. Everything was rainbow colorful and beautiful at the same time. She has never seen something so glorious.
" This is beautiful!" She shouted back to Ariel.
" Yes it is! But that's not exactly what I wanted to show you."
The fog blinded Lisa for a minute but she opened her eyes she saw something she couldn't unsee. The beautiful crystals that illuminated the small cave. Ariel kicks one of the crystals down on the opening of the cave. They starting lighting up bright in different colors. Her mouth gaped before the beauty in front of her.
Ariel lead her into the depth of the cave. She was unable to close her mouth as she slowly walked inside.
"Wow look." She smiles as she saw her whole body lit up. The crystal lights were going through her body making it glow with the different colors. It was all so magical.
"Amazing right?" Ariels body was glowing also.
" It's so magical." Lisa kept tilting her hand in disbelief. They finally reached the inside of the cave looking a lot bigger now. In the middle was a very big fountain with a pond curved around it.
"Where does this water even come from?" She couldn't understand since they were literally inside a cave.
"I don't know. But I know this place is very magical and full of surprises too."
" It's very magical indeed." Lisa kept taking in the view.
" Hey!"
"What?" Unexpectedly Ariel pushed Lisa inside the small pond.
"Ahh!" Splashing into the water.
Then immediately she starts laughing. The water was tickling her , like literally tickling her. She was laughing so hard that she could barely breath. Ariel standing near pond cracked up laughing.
Luckily enough for Lisa she was able to grab one of his legs dragging him into the water.
"Splash!" Into the water and both were laughing so hard. Lisa finally managed to pull herself off the water brushing it off.
"At least warn a girl next time." Lisa still laughing she tries to control her breath and racing heart. Ariel also manages to get out of the water shaking it off.
"Noted." He focuses his gaze on Lisa. For the very first time Lisa actually gets a good look on him. He messy blonde hair, most likely because of the water. His deep blue eyes and handsome well molded face. Lisa awkwardly looks away.
"So is the fountain ticklish too?" Lisa got up walking to the fountain.
"Why don't you find out?" He whispers.
Lisa sharply turned to look at him.
"Don't be afraid I'm not going to push you this time." He smiles. He really got a beautiful smile.
"Well okay." Lisa walks towards the water. She starts by testing the water with her hands. It's very warm and soothing and definitely not ticklish.
"It seems okay." Lisa took off her already wet clothes ready to go into the water.
"What?" She got a little embarrassed by the way Ariel was staring at her.
"You've never seen a lady striping into her underwears before." She raised her eyebrow walking into the fountain , Ariel only shook his head with a tiny laugh.
The warmness immediately filled her body.
"Aren't you coming in?" Lisa asked as she went deep into the water.
He giggles a little before taking off his clothes. He also joins Lisa inside the water. The water was really relaxing after what she had to go through in class today.
"What?" Lisa couldn't read why he was looking at her like that. He goes deep underwater and a moment later Lisa feels something pulling her by the leg.
She immediately gasps for air as she's drawn under the water. Then she immediately sees Ariel. He starts swimming away into the depth of the fountain. Lisa didn't even know fountains could be that deep. She followed him , chasing him.
She wanted to scream but immediately clapped her mouth as a little fish passed before her face. Under the fountain there was a pool of water. It was like a see hidden under ground. She starts swimming around admiring the place. The small beautiful fish swimming around.
Then she realized she was actually running out of air. She could hold her breath but not for that long. Ariel on the other hand seemed more relaxed and enjoying. Lisa signals him , trying to tell him they should actually resurface.
Ariel swims closer and grabs her by the waist. He immediately starts pushing the water away forming some sort of bubble.
Immediately Lisa grasped for air as the water moved away. Surprisingly she could actually breathe.
"I don't think I can hold my breath that long."
Lisa cried out immediately.
" I'm sorry. But you don't need to hold your breath though. You can't die remember? So you don't really need to breathe to leave."
" What? How's that even possible?"
"Just imagine you were a mermaid or something. Something that can breathe underwater." Ariel smiles letting go of the water and it immediately starts covering them. Following Ariel's advice , Lisa thought of herself as a mermaid. Then she immediately realized that she didn't really need to hold her breath , well she also had to make sure she doesn't inhale the water or she's coming out with a full belly. Lisa really enjoyed the swim , watching the fish, it really relaxed her mind making her forget about school for a bit. Sometime later they went back to the surface.
"It's getting late , we should get going." He puts on his already dry clothes. Lisa puts on her clothes too.
"So how did you find this place?"
"Well sometimes not everything is easy here and you end up needing some kind of escape. Then you find yourself some place to escape that not many people may know about. This world is very big and fool of mystery. I'm pretty there some places people know about that I don't know. So it depends how hard you search and how lucky you're."
" So you are telling me that it's only me and you that know this place?"
" Probably. I mean I never saw anyone here before."
" This is great." Ariel nods as they go back to the exit."
They went out to the dragon and it brought them back to the academy.
"Thanks for the swim." Lisa smiles as they land on the ground.
"You're welcome." He goes to the edge ready to leave. " One more thing. Not everything here is physical , sometimes you just have to use your imagination." He flys away living only dust behind.
Lisa so wished she could do that but all she did was to just fall and break her bones. She went back into her room and curled up on her comfy bed.
