POSSESSED 2:The evil king

Moonlight Ball.

Five days are over and the moonlight ball has come.

"Hey?" She forced out a smile at the face before her.

"Looking nice. But you could have done better."

In his arm he was holding close Hecate.

" What's that supposed to mean?" Drew starts dragging Lisa away into the crowd.

"Jeez!"

"I don't think that's how you want to start your night." He pulled her closer as the start dancing to the music.

"I know. It's just that they really annoy me." Then their attention is caught by a loud bell.

"Attention everyone!!" An angel who looked quite older than the rest of the Angels appeared walking down the stairs.

"That's Angel Gabriel." Drew whispered to her ear.

" I'm Archangel Gabriel for those of you who don't know me." He smiles as he addresses the students.

"And here comes the long speech."

"The long speech?" She asked.

" Yes. He does almost the same speech every year. About the rules, how to be a good Angel and stuff like that."

" Well what do you even come here if you don't like the speech?"

" Because of the fun after. And you're here to keep me distracted. I could just walk away." Gabriel finishes off his speech which Lisa barely heard.

"Have fun." Archangel Gabriel ordered and everyone went back to dancing.

"Can I find you later?" She leaves Drew as she spots Jane across the room.

"Hey Jane?" She immediately hugged her tight.

" Hey Lisa. How have you been?" She tightened the hug.

" Busy with this and that. How are about you? I haven't seen you in a while. I kind of thought you were avoiding me." She pulled away for a better look at Jane.

"I just needed sometime to myself. To just find myself but now I'm fine. And may I say you look beautiful tonight."

" Thank you. And you also look amazing. And don't tell me you came alone in this amazing ball."

" Of cause not. He got caught up. So what about your date?"

" He's cool. Just an old friend." She smiled.

" Old friend huh? Because I was having a hard time choosing since four guys are staring at you." Lisa tries to move her eyes across the room unnoticed.

"Even Lucifer?" Jane was rather surprised.

" Maybe he's just thinking of another way to try and break me down." She said.

" Whatever it is, his girlfriend doesn't like it one bit."

" I don't really care what's he really thinking and whether his girlfriend likes it or not. I'm not letting them ruin the night for me."

" That's the spirit! Look I gotta go, can't keep my date waiting for long. It's been really nice seeing you." Jane leaves Lisa and starts walking to her date. She walks to the crowd to find Drew and he finds him waiting across the dance floor.

"I thought I lost you." He said meeting her.

" Had to check up on Jane." Then they started dancing throwing in a few drinks. The Ball was way better than what Lisa had expected.

"This is quite amazing, really." She drains her glass as she reaches for another one.

" It's cool but you should come to the Inferno Ball. It's hot." They both move to the music feeling it in their veins.

"Inferno Ball? Let me guess? That would be Hell." She moves her hips matching the rythm.

"That's the real deal."

"That I'd like to see." She dances around with Drew as they get to know each other. An hour passed everyone having fun, except for Lucifer who was just sitting on a chair barely even enjoying what's happening around him.

"He doesn't seem to be having fun at all. Why is he even here?"

"I don't know why, he usually doesn't even bother to come here. By the way he always looks bored unless he's making someone miserable. Enough about him, so do you ever think of going back home?"

" Most of the time yes. Especially since I believe I'm not dead but I kind of like this place. I think I can get used to it."

" Hey?" Drew is disturbed by another Demon girl.

"I'll see you around." Lisa leaves them to chat and goes to the balcony for some fresh air.

At the balcony she spots Lucifer staring at a far distance deep in his thoughts.

"I'm probably gonna regret this." She decides to go and check up on him.

"Hey, is everything okay?"

"What do you want human?" He asks making no effort to look at her.

"Nothing. I was just checking up on you." Lisa feeling intimidated by his strong energy.

"I don't need anyone to check up on me."

" It doesn't look like it." She said.

"I don't care. Isn't your boyfriend waiting for you inside?"

" He's not my boyfriend."

" Of cause." He still wasn't looking at her but Lisa could hear the ignorance in his voice.

"He's not my boyfriend! It's just an old friend and he asked me to be his date. There's nothing between me and him…. Oh my God! Why am I even explaining this to you? I don't owe you any explanation you can think whatever you like."

" I didn't ask for your explanation anyways. Now if you would please leave me alone."

"You know you're so ungrateful. I was just tryna be nice to you even after all you put me through and all I get is 'if you would please leave me alone.'" she mocks his voice in the worst way possible.

"You're just a waste of time."

"Mind your mouth you pruny human!" He firmly held her jaw between his arms as his eyes start glowing more red.

"Get your demonic hands off me!" She tries removing his hand but as she touch it she felt an electric current through her arms which brings a flash of memories. He angrily snatched his hand from her and she was immediately back to reality.

"What was that?" She asked still fazed.

"I don't care." He starts walking away.

" Where do you think you're going?" She tries to block his path but he pushes her out of the way.

"Lucifer. Lucifer! Come back here!" But he flies away not paying attention to her except everyone who was watching them.

"You know what… Fine! I don't need you." Lisa storms back into the Ball.

" What are you staring at?!" The lady immediately walks off and Lisa searches for someone in the dance floor.

"There you're!" She starts pulling him away.

"Lisa? What are you doing?" He asked shocked.

"Just follow me!" She ordered.

"I'll see later okay." They both went outside the Ball and Lisa took him as far away as possible where no one would see or hear them.

Spill it!" She angrily folded her arms above her chest.

"What are you talking about? What's going on here? Why did you drag me out of the room and bring me here?" Ariel questions uncertain about Lisa's strange behavior.

"Maybe this will trigger your memory." She takes out the necklace from her bag.

"Ohh you found my necklace, thank you. I think I lost it in your bathroom or something." He accepts it putting it around his neck.

"Now you wanna tell me something about your necklace?"

"I'm sorry I don't understand." Lisa lifts her necklace for him to see.

"Looks like mine."

"Exactly. Would you like to explain why my necklace looks like yours?"

" I don't know.. there are so many reasons why my necklace would look like yours."

" Maybe this will give you less reasons…. Ansel."

" Who's Ansel." A moment if shock flickered in his eyes.

"You! You're Ansel."

"Are you crazy? I'm Ariel not Ansel. Are you sure you are fine?"

" I'm more than fine. Don't deny it , I know about Ansel the man from the fifth realm. I know it was you. That's why hell felt so familiar because you're the one who showed me. I remember you giving me this necklace and I want to know why you did all that." Lisa was certain that the man was Ariel but she still wanted more answers.

"C'mon Lisa… Can you even hear yourself?"

" Ariel just stop it! I know it was you okay. I know it was you pretending to be Ansel. I remember you say there's something special about me. "

" Look I can't tell you anything okay."

" Ariel!!" They are both interrupted by Sariel.

"Archangel Gabriel would like to see you." He glares between Lisa and Ariel. They both follow him back to the Ball.

As they approached Lisa met Archangel Gabriel's eyes and they lingered on her for a moment. He was trying to read her, but he was unlucky. He furrowed his eyebrows confused. Lisa had the sense that he might have failed to go through her mind. Yet again Archangel Gabriel was so strong, even stronger than Lucifer so how could he fail to read Lisa's mind. He tries over and over again to fail with every turn and was even surprising for Lisa.

"Is it possible for someone to read my memory from a far distance?" She whispered to Ariel.

" If the person is strong enough, yes. With just a small glance they can dig through your head."

" Strong enough like Archangel Gabriel?"

" Yes why?" He looks at her fazed.

"Nevermind. I'll see you around okay." She leaves in the middle of the dance floor and walks out of the ballroom.

"What's going on?" Lisa cried as she walked into the darkness. She walks through the dark letting the breeze of the night hit her.

"No one is willing to give me answers but why? Why can't they just tell me what's going on?"

"Out of my way!" Hecate pushed her and walked away fuming. Lisa wondered what's going on with her and for some reason she went to check it out.

"Ohhh!" She spots a person sitting on a cliff close ahead. She flies to the cliff and sits next to the person.

"Great view isn't it?"

"What do you want from me?" He asks annoyed.

" Why do you have to be so arrogant?"

" Why do you have to be so annoying?" He rises up as he was ready to leave once again.

"Look I know Lucifer." She said.

"I don't know what you're talking about." He was still looking away.

" I remember everything. I remember about you and me back on earth. I remember but I still want to know why? Why everything? What is everyone hiding from me?" He sighs then comes back to sit next to her.

"I don't know what you want me to tell you. Yes everything you remember is correct but I can't help. There's nothing I can tell you."

" When you read my memory in the class Sariel stopped you before you could go any further. He knew the more you go through my memories there more I'll remember everything. Ariel was also involved when they erase my memory but he doesn't want to tell me why. So what I want to know is why everyone is trying to hide the truth from me. Why they erase my memory? Why does it matter?"

" Because you knew too much. You knew things no undead person should know, they had to erase your memories." He said.

" Then why did they make me go through your childhood? Why didn't just erase my memory before then?"

" Because you fainted and probably had a vision about my past."

" It was Ariel walking me through that vision and I'm sure about it. So why would they do that?"

" Lisa look maybe you should just let it go. It's good you know the truth but I don't know what else you want. There's nothing more to what you're looking for." His expression softened as his eyes were less scary.

" Do you believe I'm dead?" The question doesn't seem to shock him.

"It doesn't matter what I believe. The truth is you're here. And you should focus on that and let go of things that don't even make any sense."

" I can't stay in the dark like this. I have to know."

" You never change, do you? Even after death." He chuckles softly his laugh almost velvet.

Lisa also laughs as they linger at each other for a while.

"You look beautiful tonight." His smile was enough to melt Lisa away.

"I thought I could have done better. "

"Maybe I lied."

" Maybe?" Lisa smiles.

" Look I have to go." He stands perfectly ruining the moment.

"I know you won't take my advice but at least think about it." His expression darkened yet again and he was back to his normal self if you can call it that.

"Okay." Like that he's gone only leaving dust behind. Lisa decides to stay for a few minutes before going back to the Ball.

"If no one will help me then I guess I'll have to find the truth myself." She rose up and went back to the Ball.

She sees Lucifer talking to some demons next to the door.

"Don't touch me!" He jerks off as Lisa was trying to ask him yet another question.

"Jerk mode activated." She just walks away already feeling tired with everything.

"Are you okay?" Lisa bumps to Micheal on her way.

" Hi Michael. I'm fine. I just want to go to sleep." She answers with a tired expression.

"Long night I see."

"You have no idea." Lisa felt just helpless.

"Let me see you to your dome." They both walked out of the ball and flew back to the domes.

"Thank you." She opened her door ready to just go to sleep.

"You sleep well alright. Just so you know if you ever need anything I'll be glad to help. And whatever you are going through, I'm sure you'll break through." He brushes her face sending tingles all over Lisa's body. He walks away and Lisa couldn't stop smiling as she went to throw herself on the bed.

Lisa woke up in the morning the next day and got herself ready.

"Where are you going?" Bella asked.

"Hell." She answered.

"Why are you going to Hell?"

"I'll tell you later okay." She left and flew back to hell. The library in hell was the one she knew and if she had to read everything there is so be it. She starts moving around the library looking for books that can give her answers.

As she was furiously looking through the book she's scared by the intensity of the energy behind her. She could feel the person was really strong and it didn't mean anything good to her.

"What are you doing here?" His hoarse frightening voice made her drop the books in fear.

"Nothing.. I was just reading the books." She explained.

" Don't they have books back in Nirvana? You don't belong here!" He sneered. Lisa was horrified by his angry red eyes and yes he had horns protruding from his head. The demon stares at her and she could feel that he was trying to read her mind. His face grew angrier when he failed. Lisa still wondering why he wanted to read her mind, she couldn't be doing anything wrong. But every time he failed he looked like he's going to tear Lisa to pieces and she didn't know how to escape the terrible demon.

"What's going on?" Hopefully Lisa was saved by the arrival of Lucifer.

"Get this stupid human out of here! She disgust me." He frowns in disgust.

" Lisa let's go." Lucifer ordered and Lisa didn't hesitate to follow him.

"What was that?" She asked as she assumed they were away.

"Not here." He replied.
