Chapter Two

BEATRICE

Shortly I saw my manager Harry walk towards us and said "Miss Beatrice am sorry to have kept you waiting, I see you have met my Boss the owner of Cyber Conexus telecommunications".... Beatrice smiled and looks at me and smiled again, and said " what unique turn of events, nice to meet you Mr. Lucas" she said as she continued her meeting and after the meeting the rest was history.

I was a Lucky man at least for a while until she had the accident that took her life, and I lost my beautiful piece of work. I remembered what my grandfather had said to me after her demise, he said "Lucas boy, your girl was so perfect that God in heaven needed her more than you", well the man is gone now, I hope he can see Beatrice in heaven.

While Lucas feels empty with a lack of adventures because there is no one to share a better moment with if not Beatrice, no one else could make him happy, his wife Beatrice was all that he knew in this world, yet she was taken away from him, it was just a few days after his wedding to her in the St.Anglican church in the Mountains of Kila that he had wedded her, little did he know that she would go so soon.

One night, the young billionaire Lucas,decided to go on a hike, hoping that just maybe the view would help him find some peace and quiet, part of their bucketlist, one of the places him and his beloved wife Beatrice had wanted to visit, Lucas decided to go alone on the hike, hoping that somehow will miraculously make him better,at least since his entire mansion reminds him of his wife Beatrice and all their plans together, every angle he looks at in the mansion he could always feel his wife's presence, a house that Lucas had always claimed to be too big before now is suddenly so small, and while on a hike in the woods, he was just starting to feel better when was suddenly bitten by a werewolf,it was so fast, as he didn't know what he could make of it, he fell to the ground as all he could feel was just some awkward cold from underneath his feet upward his head as everything suddenly was becoming dark, it was as if life was been drained from him like a bull taken to the s*******r house waiting for his turn. His right hand was gently placed on his shoulder, and with a little pressure on the injury, he could feel his blood dripping from beneath the sleeve of his jacket as he lay still on the floor gasping for life.

From where he was laying still almost breathless on the floor, at that point Lucas had concluded that he was going to die, he could feel the life slowly drift out of him, and with every second his heart rates become slower.

A lady from nowhere rushed across to him, she must have seen him, she was the one who called for help long before he hit the ground.

They say before you die your life will flash in front of your eyes, I have seen my entire life flash before my eyes, just when he was about to give up staring at the eyes of his angel, unfortunately, he met her towards the end of his own life. Lucas wished that he had more time at least to get to know the pretty lady who came to his rescue, it was almost as of the universe heard him both of them heard and saw a helicopter as it descends beside Lucas and the paramedics inside the helicopter coming to help me as I struggled to stay alive, Lucas survived it, and his life was forever changed.

The young lady went with Lucas to the hospital to be with Lucas and her name was Janny. She was pretty and all that Lucas had thought to have missed in his woman and with every day that passes he fell over hills in love with his mysterious Jenny.

As a billionaire, Lucas had the means to explore his new abilities and find a community of other werewolves. He discovered that being a werewolf made him see most of the sides he never knew existed before, his newfound life gave him a sense of power and control that he had never experienced before.

But as his wealth and influence grew, so did his enemies. Lucas found himself in the middle of a battle for supremacy between rival werewolf packs, and he had to use all of his wits and resources to stay alive.

Despite the danger, Lucas was exhilarated by his newfound strength and the thrill of the hunt. He began to see the world differently, realizing that he had been living a limited and mundane existence before.

As Lucas navigated his new life as a werewolf and billionaire, Lucas learned that true power comes from within, he feels almost fulfilled as he discovered a new face to his wealth and power, nearly no one could mess with Lucas. Soon his fame and fortune grew and many other billionaires around the country wanted to be friends with him to learn from him.

Lucas would go about the entire day traveling from one place to the other, cruising in his exotic cars, drinking the most expensive wine, and having s*x with the most sophisticated woman, the kind of life he was always used to, Lucas began to see and he found no sense of fulfillment or purpose in this new life, He wanted more as he felt the missing piece of his life lies with him finding Janny who suddenly disappeared from the hospital and since then nothing. No night passes that he doesn't think about the mysterious Jenny who saved his life and kept him alive from a werewolf who almost ended his life.
