MAGGIE AND NICK WERE awake and ready for the day when their breakfast arrived with another fruit bowl from the Sheik. After the Stewards left, Nick said to Maggie, “I’ve gotten a text from the man I contacted about your cheque you received from the Sheik. He says to cash it for now, because he hasn’t been able to come up with a good answer for us yet. He feels you can return it after you get home if he can find out if it won’t offend the Sheik to do so. It might be easier than handing it back to him now in person. He has some people getting back to him who have expertise in this area. If you call your bank to let them know it is coming, you can take a picture of the cheque to deposit it.”
Maggie replied, “It doesn’t feel right to take that money, I don’t need it for anything.”
