Even though she suffered abuse throughout the day during school, Sam would still show up in the gym every day after school to work on drills, workout or just practice shooting. The boys she would sometimes play with didn’t hold any concern to her s****l proclivities; when they were on the court, it was just about playing. It was a nice escape for her and this was her only social interaction because the other girls on the team wanted no contact with her at all.
Ms. Hamm knew she was going to have to call the team together to resolve this mess. She wasn’t sure if she should have a meeting without Sam first. If she found out about the meeting without her, she might quit, if she had the meeting with her, it might be too chaotic. She rubbed her head and thought how she didn’t need
