Order of Advocates for The Humans

Chapter Nine

We took David and Catherine and put them into our cells until we are level headed enough to not rip their heads off.

***5 Hours Later***

“So Catherine I want to know why you were trying to sell Alpha and I off those rouges?” I ask Catherine as I pull splinters of glass out of her arms, face, and legs. “And where did this glass come from?”

Catherine sighed as she got ready to explain, “It wasn't my idea.. I never wanted anyone to get hurt, honest. You have to believe me. When you're Alpha, husband, and mate command you to do something that will protect your pack, wouldn't you do it? And the glass came from Alex, the rouge leader, throwing me through a window.”

“Not if it involved hurting my friends. But then again I guess you were faking that too,” I say and walk away angry.

I go tell Quinn what Catherine told me and he says David said the same thing that it was to save their pack. We sit down and talk it over to see what to do with them. We pull Donnie, Patrick, Airan, and Sphen into the office to see what their opinion on the matter is.   

   After discussing matters with our pack, The NightingGales, Quinn and I have decided that we are allowing Catherine and David to stay alive as killing them would cause a war that we’re not interested in. So we’ll let them live on one condition, they still have to become our allies and if they ever betray us again, their whole pack will be wiped out.

Donnie has now become very protective of Quinn and I, seeing as he is my bodyguard and he is taking his job very seriously, which I do appreciate. Any time I leave the pack house without Quinn, Donnie is always by my side. I wonder when he will meet his mate.

Not that I want him to go away. I rather enjoy the company, but I do miss my alone time. But it's nice to see my pack members happy and with someone they love. Like we have two pack members who fall in love with someone, married them, and then found out they were mates and rejected each other to be with the ones they love and married. So I can't wait to see Donnie that happy with someone.
