I TOOK A DEEP BREATH and opened my eyes then keep my head high, showing confidence that I won’t be affected by anything at all.
As soon as I start walking, passing by the receptionist, my heels start to make sounds, almost announcing my arrival in the whole room. I keep my lips sealed and expression blank before looking around, checking for the person I am meeting for. As soon as my gaze caught him, a sigh escapes my lips.
Atleast, he came earlier than I am. That is the only thought that I have in mind.
I wasn’t sure why. But the moment he gave me that call, I kept on thinking that I could be the one who will be waiting for him to arrive when it was him who needs something from me. That is also the reason why I took my time in preparing and coming here just so I wouldn’t be the one wait
