Against the pack

Act Five

Clayton and Raul bring Mason’s body to Hugo and narrate exactly what happened to Hugo. Hugo gets infuriated and beats Clayton till he dies. He then turns to Maxwell his first son and instructs Maxwell to make sure that they get Sharon where hurts the most. He wants Maxwell to find her boyfriend Dexter and bring him as a captor. Before they leave, he tells them to be very careful because she is different from the rest of them and stronger in every way so they have to be smart about it.

Sharon goes to her apartment to freshen up after spending some time in Dexter’s apartment. She is singing in the shower and blushing at the memory of her time with Dexter. She then selects some clothes and makes some breakfast. She picks some books and a movie which she intends to take to Dexter.

On getting to Dexter’s house she sees that the door has been forcefully opened. She drops her bag on the floor and goes into the house and sees that there was a struggle. She picks up a smell and follows it to a note that reads, “WE HAVE HIM. YOUR LIFE FOR HIS”. She gets infuriated and scared at the same time and destroys the table. She then looks around the house to investigate the destruction but sees that there is no blood around which means Dexter was not injured.

She returns to her apartment and goes straight to a big box under her bed. She pulls out the box and brings it out and reveals the contents. Inside the box are guns and weapons of different sizes and makes. She brings out guns and knifes and a jar of wolfsbane which she spills on the blades. She cleans and greases the guns and starts arming herself to go and confront Hugo and his pack.

As she comes out of her apartment to head to Hugo, she sees her brother, Timothy, standing outside her apartment. He tells her that their father instructed him to keep an eye on her and so far he’s impressed that she has been able to hold her own end but that starting trouble with another pack is not the best. She tells him that she is not here for a lecture but Timothy tells her he knows that they have her boyfriend and asks her if she is going to surrender to them, but she hands him the bag of guns and he immediately knows what her decision is.

Hugo has Dexter bound and surrounded by members of the pack. He asks Dexter some questions to know if he knows anything about Sharon’s hidden identity, but Dexter does not know anything. Hugo tells Dexter that there is a reason they picked him up on the night of a full moon. He tells Dexter about the myth of the werewolf and explains to him that his girlfriend is a descendant of the original werewolf and that her family is responsible for turning people like him who were normal human beings to werewolfs. He tells Dexter about Mason and how Sharon killed him. He tells Dexter that no matter what happens, that Dexter is going to die because it is a full moon.

Sharon and Timothy observe the scene from afar and start strategizing on how to lay siege on Hugo. Sharon starts arming herself and gives Timothy the bag of guns but he tells her that he doesn’t need it. She tells Timothy that she will distract Hugo while Timothy clears an escape rout and take Dexter away from the scene because of the full moon so that he won’t get hurt. Timothy just laughs and tells her not get herself killed.

Hugo notices that the time is going and if Sharon does not come, that they will kill Dexter without Dexter knowing the true identity of Sharon. He starts getting infuriated when Sharon casually walks into the scene. Hugo tries to ask her about her family and her pack. He tries to find out if she intends to move along or if she is here to stay? He tells her that if she is here to stay then she has to join his pack but any other option, then she has to die as she has to die for the life of Mason.

Sharon simply asks Dexter if he is well and if he was hurt. He tells her that he is fine except for the minor concussion that he feels from when he was abducted. She then turns over to Hugo and tells Hugo to let Dexter go now and unharmed. She tells Hugo that that is the only option that he has, that any other option will end in his death and the death of his gang members. Just then Hugo’s gang members who have not yet been turned, surround Sharon with guns aimed towards her. Hugo laughs and tells her that it seems she did not calculate properly, that she is the one who needs to surrender or she will die.

Timothy is sneaking around the scene and picking Hugo’s men one after the other and killing them. He arrives behind the scene and is hiding at a corner. Hugo starts to pick Timothy’s scent and Sharon notices it, so she pulls out her gun and starts shooting Hugo and his men but the gunfire from his men are too much so they shoot her down cold. Hugo goes to check on her body but his attention is drawn to Dexter who has been rescued by Timothy who used the noise from the gun battle as a distraction. He orders his werewolf men to look for Dexter and be careful that there is another werewolf around.

Timothy takes Dexter to a considerable distance and tells him to run away because it is going to be very dangerous for him if he stays around. Just then the full moon comes out and Timothy’s claws start coming out and he starts transforming. Dexter sees this and starts running while timothy starts heading back to the scene while he is still transforming. He encounters Hugo’s men who are also transforming and they all start fighting but Timothy is far more superior than them as he transforms faster, bigger and stronger than them.

Sharon wakes up and sees Hugo’s men trying to bind her to a chair so she snaps and kills them while she is also transforming. She transforms completely and kills them all before she goes after Hugo. She and Hugo fight for a while because Hugo is older but she is stronger and more skilled so she kills him.

The effects of the full moon wear off and Sharon transforms back to human. Just then Timothy comes in carrying the head of one of Hugo’s men. He asks her about her well being and she just shrugs. She asks him about Dexter and just then Dexter walks in and sees the bodies that have been maimed. She tries to explain to him that this was how she was born and that Timothy is her immediate senior brother. Dexter tells her that he will need some time for this to sink in and thanks her for saving his life before leaving. Timothy tells her to give Dexter sometime, that if he really loves her, he will come around but if not, she knows what to do to save the secret of her true nature and this is what scares Sharon.
