I could not hold the tears in anymore as the embarrassment was more than I could take. The whole school had gathered and had continued to stare at us, watching me being mocked. The students had even begun to whisper and murmur and giggle. The shame doubled when I saw my oppressors laughing at me in victory and mockery of me. .
Not able to take it anymore, I rushed out of the cafeteria crying and headed to the girls' bathroom instead. My breathing was quite on the heavy side as I got into the room and shut the door. It felt like the floor should open up and swallow me that very minute. I felt so miserable and if it was possible, I would kill myself right there. That would make them feel a little better, wouldn’t it?
