I was dumbfounded. I didn’t wait to hear what the guard had to say before I got into the room. I was worried that something had gone wrong. Was I too strict? Had I been harsh to her? Could she have fainted? Could she have… no. I shook my head. I believed nothing would go wrong and she would be perfectly okay.
