CALISTA’S POV
Throughout that day, I didn’t feel like myself. The whole day was quite overwhelming for me. It was difficult to grasp all that had happened and it felt like I was not in the proper state of mind. The joy and the euphoria that engulfed me earlier had begun to wear off.
I was certain Logan was not trying to pull tricks on me. Of course, I knew he was quite deceptive and dubious but this time, he seemed to be genuine. I however decided to let it slide and went to bed, waiting to see what the next day had to offer.
I have never been happy about heading to school. No, I didn’t like being at home either but home seemed a little better than school. That way, I did not have to deal with Asher and Kayla even though Keisha was in the picture always. That day was however different.
