LOGAN’S POV
A wave of disappointment washed all over me and my heart sank like a stone in a still pod. My fists clenched as Jace placed a peck on Calista’s lips. The moment his skin collided with her skin, it felt like a sledgehammer hit on my chest, knocking air out of me.
A giggle escaped her lips, followed by a rosy blush that shone across her cheeks.
“Go to class.” He spoke quite calmly and like a puppet, she nodded. “We will meet you there.” He added. Calista nodded, not sparing me a stare or a glance before walking off and leaving us all alone, by ourselves.
We watched in silence as she walked away until we could no longer see her before deciding what to do. It still did not make any sense to me.
