CALISTA’S POV
A thousand thoughts were running through my mind all at the same time. He never failed to bring me breakfast and lunch and supper daily. He was just so nice to me and I could not help it. His actions seemed suspicious and somehow, I believed he was up to something.
He was always at my beck and call. He seemed to be nowhere else but by my side. Each time I called for a maid, he was always quick to come to my rescue.
“You are perfectly okay now.” The nurse informed me. “Now, walk with the leg.” She requested and I did just as she had asked. Although I was still leaping, she assured me that I was totally fine.
