Zephyr-3 on Venus

THE VOYAGE

Me-“Practice session?”

Emma-“done”.

Me- “food, clothing, mid-deck seats, flight tools, cameras, parachutes, safety equipment, sleep restraints, extravehicular mobility units?”

Emma- “checked”.

Me- “improvement on Abebe’s performance”?

Emma- “He has reached the threshold temperature to sustain in venus”.

Me- “That's great Abebe, congratulations”.

Abebe- “Thank you, sir”.

And after checking up all the requirements we were all set for the new journey which was going to set new standards for the times to come. We sat on the ATLAS X and within seconds we were in the stratosphere. finally reached outer space and a new VOYAGE TO VENUS STARTED. The 100 days journey made our bondings strong. We were able to understand each other more precisely and I don't have any doubt that I won't be able to find anyone better than Abebe for this mission. Sometimes I felt as if he was made for this mission only. The destiny itself wanted him to be part of this mission.

We were finally in the outer space of the venus. Which was about 50 km above the ground. Everything is pretty much favourable here. Now I need to prepare Abebe for his next step.

Me-“Are you ready to explore, the UNEXPLORED”

Abebe- “yes”.

Me-“so, one thing that you must keep in your mind is that you are the only one who can tolerate the amount of heat for more than 10 hours in the surface of Venus. we may not be able to tolerate it even for a few minutes wearing this suit.”

Abebe- “I understand that. Don’t worry I have been trained well and I will handle the surface research alone. Both of you can carry out the singles and communications responsibility without any  worries”

Me-“I am sure that you can handle everything well but the surface is very uncertain, this is for the first time that we are sending someone on the surface without knowing extra information about it. i mean, for sure we know the physical and geographical conditions of the surface but there can be many extra unknown entities down the surface”.

Abebe-“Do not worry about that, I like uncertainties”

Me-“Okay then, let's go for it”.

Everything was checked again and finally, Abebe was sent to the surface with the help of the capsule-shaped lander. The landing was smooth, we could see everything clearly by the attached heatproof cameras. It was glowing red everywhere, the molten red surface. Rain of sulphuric acid was clearly seen. I don’t believe that life can even exist in such a place but the production of phosphine is only possible by a living being. We have seen clear evidence of phosphine on the upper surface. Where does this phosphine come from??

“Sir, am I audible ”? Abebe checked for the connection.

Me-“Yes, you are audible, are you feeling some difficulty down there”?

Abebe- “No sir, but it's a very glitzy place, I wish I could take a selfie and send it to my mom ”.

Emma- “you will get the chance but, first things first. Are you completely comfortable and ready to come out of the capsule ?”

Abebe- “yes, I am ready”.

Emma- “Okay, in the count of three, the doors will open up”.

THREE !!!!!!!!!!TWO!!!!!!!!!!ONE!!!!!!!!!!!

The door opened up. And the moment it opened, a blurred figure of someone, unlike a human, appeared from far away. As it reached closer, the figure started appearing more clearly. The head was burning with two horns on the head, eyes were flowing with fire. Now he came close to Abebe and said “TWAM KIM ”? We were surprised by the fact that he could speak. His voice was hard and loud like a demon. Abebe was confused and he tried to contact us “what the hell is he saying???” he asked us.

“I have no idea!!” I replied. Emma suddenly turned back and started searching for something in her mythological book, but the demon doesn't seem very happy with all this. He tried to smash Abebe but somehow Abebe dogged. Now Abebe was out of the capsule and he was facing a demon. As we were well prepared for such unexpected encounters, Abebe had a laser g*n, which he immediately used on the demon and it divided the demon into two halves.

“Well done abebe!! ” I appreciated his move.

“I have learned this from PUBG, kill your enemy before they kill you ”. Abebe replied in his usual humorous tone.”

“Check out his body. what does it contain?” I asked in curiosity.

“I can see a lava-like material inside, I am not sure if it's similar to any element of earth. I am still surprised that how he spoke those words ?” he replied while trying to take samples from the body remains of the demon.

“That's interesting. Come up with that sample. I want to test that with an electron microscope. I am opening the gate of the capsule for you.” I was really curious to know more about that element

“Roger that” he replied And started moving toward the capsule.

I pressed the button to open the gate for the capsule but it didn’t open up.

“Sir I am not able to open up the gate even manually and I can also feel some…...!@#$%^&*” Abebe was trying to convey something but he was not able to complete his sentence. We lost the connection. The camera stopped working. We could not see his moments.

“I think I need to go down in a different capsule and look for the situation,” I said in a hurry, as Emma was still busy finding something in her books.

“But sir, he is trained to resolve connection problems by himself and you can not survive the conditions for more than 10 minutes on the surface of venus. I think we must wait for his reply” Emma replied.

“I know and I wish he can fix the connection all by himself but I have myself looked after the connections deeply and no known factors like electromagnetic waves or connection jammers can hinder our connection. It must be done by some unknown entity” I replied in a tense manner.

“But sir, how will you resolve it in 10 minutes?” Emma asked.

“I will take 3 minutes and 24 seconds to reach the surface and another 3 minutes and 24 seconds to come back. I will still have 3 minutes and 12 seconds to resolve the problem. If I won't be able to resolve it, at least I will dictate Abebe and he could solve the problem. ” I replied in a confident tone.

“Okay sir, I am making this capsule ready for you. Till the time I was wearing the gears, she went inside the capsule to check it out. after the cross-checking of the capsule was done, I put on my gears immediately and sat inside the capsule.

It started going down in a phase-wise manner and I was able to see some blurred moments down there. Nothing was visible clearly. I could only see Abebe's capsule. When I was about to land on the surface within 10 seconds I heard a voice.

“I have resolved the connection problem and I am coming back. The heat has become UNBEARABLE FOR ME.caution!!! not to come on the surface I repeat DO NOT COME ON THE SURFACE!! Due to heat, the survival level of a normal human is decreased to 7 minutes ” it was Abebe and as soon as I heard this I immediately opened up my propellers to go back to the base.

Emma- “sir is already on the surface, I think now he is coming back”

Me- “yes, I have immediately activated my propellers and I am coming back”

Abebe- “sir, are you all right???”

Me- “yes I am fine and as per my calculation I will reach the upper atmosphere 12 seconds before your estimated survival time”

Abebe- “that's great sir, for the first time I felt an unbearable heat. It was due to some lightning object. I could not see that clearly due to its sun-like shiny nature. All I could see was some T shaped object which looked like wooden material but burned vigorously”.

Emma- “that’s interesting ”.

Abebe- “ why”??

Emma- “I am getting some leads from the words that the demon used and the object that you are talking about. I think I was getting the right lead about them in my books ”.

Abebe- “and that lead is??????”

Emma - “it's about a….. One second….. John sir…. Can you hear us???

Sir……………………………………?????????????????????????????

I think we have lost connection with sir.. ”

Abebe- “ no…… wait…. I think that object is going near, sir's capsule and in that case, the temperature for him may become unbearable”

Emma- “I am not getting any report from the capsule”

Abebe- “now that object is moving away from capsule and I am about to reach the outer atmosphere is 10 seconds”.

John- “guys, can you hear me??”

Emma and Abebe- “yes”.

John- “the temperature is rising in my capsule, I have already started getting the body burns but I am still under the bearable time.now,  my extra 12 seconds were compensated due to arrival of that object. I have exactly the same number of seconds to reach the outer atmosphere. no extra time left.”

Abebe- Sir, I have reached the base station and waiting for you. only 4 seconds are left for you to reach the surface. Keep your morale high. I will myself put the anti-burn lotions on your body”

John- “you know what, I like this thing about you. No matter how the situation is, you are always ready with your senses of humour and………………………………………………………”

Abebe- “Sir?? Can you hear us??? Sir??”

Abebe- “Emma !! Did we again lose a connection with sir??? What happened??? reply me ….damn”

Abebe- “Emma are you there??”

Emma-**voice of sobbing**

Abebe- “what happened? Why are you crying??”

Emma- “our connections are still "ON" with the capsule”.

Abebe- “that’s good… isn't it??????”

Emma- “for the last second, that shining object came again and it was unbearable for John and I am not getting any pulse rate from his gears ”

Abebe- “No… this can not happen. He can not go like that”

Emma- “we have already lost him!!!”
