Zephyr-3 on Venus

NASA HEADQUARTER

I was sitting on my wheelchair and suddenly I heard a knock at the door, I opened the door and it was abebe with a shine in his eyes. He was staying at a five-star hotel and her mother has been admitted to the hospital. He seems very happy about his decision of believing in me and at the same time he was curious to know about the details of the project but, I need to test him for the last time before we can fully trust him.

“Please sit abebe,” I asked him to sit in a very polite manner and gave him some papers to read and sign. So that we could formally take him into the organization. He started reading it. And on the last page,

 he stopped and said

“What’s this compulsory endurance test ?” he asked in curiosity.

“That’s something you will get to know afterwards” I replied.

“But why it is written that I need to do an endurance test that no one had done earlier? it may be inhuman and I admit that I will not object it in any court under the right to equality. ” he seemed a bit confused.

“As I said, I can’t reveal it. ” he looked at me for few seconds and put his hands on his forehead. Thought for a second and said “okay, I am ready for it” and singed on the form.

I congratulated him and officially welcomed him to the organization. I stood up from my chair and asked him to follow me and I took him to the room, Hidden beneath Chamber A at NASA's Johnson Space Center. The room is different from any normal room. The entrance is highly secured with the 4 layer authentication that includes the password, biometrics, behavioural c*m voice test, and finally the intelligence testing password. The moment we entered the room after spending a few minutes on the authentication process his eyes lit up by looking at the augmented-reality based computers, it appeared more like an iron man’s room to him. I put a full stop to his excitement by saying

“Welcome to the secret chamber of NASA. now before we move further, I want to give you a caution. The next step that you are going to do can be life-threatening for you. I know that you have given the formal approval in the form but as a friend, I want to give you one more chance to take back your steps. ”

“I know, I have already thought about it. If you can contribute to the treatment of my mother. I can definitely take a risk for you. ” he replied with confidence.

I told him to go inside a transparent machine. I called upon EMMA to write down the reports of the experiments and I started increasing the temperature. He was feeling more comfortable as we were increasing the temperature. The pulse rate was becoming more normal.it seems as if he was a bit uncomfortable in the air conditioning environment of the room and after increasing the temperature he was moving toward the body normal. Now I asked EMMA to increase the temperature further. It was above the normal temperature of his native place but he was comfortable even with that. I again told EMMA to increase the temperature a bit more and now suddenly he started getting the burns in his body. I immediately told Emma to stop the process. Abebe came out of the machine but despite the body burn marks on his shoulders, he was looking fine. I congratulated him as he passed the test and now he is all set for the mission with us and it was the time to tell him the secret

“You have passed the endurance test, though your body started burning in the set targeted standard temperature, you can acquire more endurance by practice.welcome to the mission Zephyr-3 on Venus.”

“Thank you so much. To be very frank I was enjoying your so-called life-threatening experiment. Now can you put off he central Air Conditioners of the room? ” he replied humorously.

“I think it’s our turn for an endurance test,” I replied smilingly.

“Emma please tell the central control room to switch off the air conditioners till we complete our mission,” I ordered EMMA and started giving further details to abebe.

“So before you go for formal training let me tell you something about our mission and venus. Venus is the nearest planet to earth with a very harsh climate where they have a rain of sulfuric acid, temperature way higher than the earth. The rotation rate is very slow, one day of venus is equal to 243 earth days and the most interesting thing is that LIFE EXISTS ON VENUS. I have been the part of Zephyr-1 and Zephyr-2 and had seen the upper atmosphere of Venus which was about 50 km above the surface under HAVOC(high altitude venus operational concept). It is interesting to know that the temperature and atmospheric pressure at 50 km altitude of venus are approximately equal to earth. Which makes it an even better place than the surface of the moon or mars. The sun's energy is abundant and we produce water with the condensation process. We tried to send a lot of rovers to the surface but it was always destroyed by some unknown source. Finally, we were able to make some equipment through which someone like you who can tolerate heat and high pressure can go to the surface and help us to explore the venus in a much better way.

I am sweating a lot. I think the central AC has been turned off. Look EMMA is also back. let me introduce you to Emma, she has been with me in Zephyr-2 and she is an expert in technology and she is very fond of mythological books.she will be a lead technician for the mission Zephyr-3.” I finally ended my long dictatorial conversation.

“Hello EMMA, it’s a pleasure to meet you” abebe greeted her.

“Same here, let’s get to the first-day basics of the mission. should I brief him on the details sir?” Emma asked me with curiosity.

“Sure, go ahead,” I told her in an authoritative tone.

I went back to the office, lots of things need to be done before going for the mission but the toughest thing has already been done. We finally got the super heat tolerating human. Many things are going to be revealed in this mission like how they destroyed our rovers. How do they look? Despite having an advanced technology why we are not able to detect them even with just a gap of 50 km. We are coming, beware of us, Aliens of venus.
