(XIAN's POV) Okay, that's my cue. I faced them and looked at each one of them, their foreheads furrowed. In an instant, I teleported them to solid ground, away from the sinking mud. They were now seated on the ground, still unable to get over what had happened. "Tsk. HEY CRIMSON, HURRY UP! WE STILL HAVE TO PASS THROUGH THERE!" I shouted at her. "Well, aren't you demanding, Xian? Why don't you do it yourself?" she shouted back at me. Sharlene was already beside me. "Did you teleport us?!" I turned around when the people behind me shouted. "Yes, Is there a problem with that?" I asked. Crimson was searching for something in the mud, the mud pearl, to restore it to its original state and stop the sinking. "But you didn't touch us. How did you teleport us?!" Prince Xander asked in shock. "Blue isn't just any teleporter. She can teleport people without touching them and can do it for as many people as she wants," Sharlene explained. They were left speechless. "Are you done, Crimson?" I asked. "Shut up, Blue. Where on earth is that mud pearl hidden?" she said irritably while searching. "Use your eyes, Crimson," Sharlene suggested. Crimson scratched her head. "Oh, right," she said, standing up. She scanned the entire mud area. "What is she doing? She won't find the pearl just by standing there," Kurt said. "She's scanning the mud to find the pearl," Sharlene replied. Crimson glanced at us, her eyes now green, which happens when she's scanning or searching for information. "Green eye," I heard them whisper. Crimson walked towards us, looking at the mud with her green eyes. She stopped in front of me, her eyes turning dark violet again. "It's right here," she said, pulling the pearl from the mud and showing it to us. It was a mud-colored pearl. The ground returned to normal as she revealed it. I pulled out a pouch for magical items and put the pearl inside, setting it aside. We continued walking for almost three hours, while they held the map. "Geez Let's stay here for the night," Dia suggested seems tired. I looked at the sky. There were three moons, all full, and the stars were out. "Set up the tents. We'll gather firewood so we won't get cold," Kurt said, joining the three prince's. Crimson put down her bag and pulled out a pen. "What are you going to do with that pen? We need a tent, not a pen!" Cheska complained. This girl... "It's for the tent... ting!" Crimson pressed the pen and threw it, and when it landed, it became a tent big enough for five people. But it was only for her. They were left gaping. "Tsk. Don't just stand there with your mouths open. Set up your own tents!" Crimson said. "It's just an automatic tent," I said, pulling out my own pen, and Sharlene did the same. Our pens also turned into tents. They were gaping even more. They eventually set up their own tents. "Dia, Cheska, and Cuesha, you can stay in my tent. I'll stay in this one," I said. They only had three tents: one for the princes, one for Kurt, and one for me. "Fix up your own tent," I said, working on setting up the third tent. I ended up alone in my tent. "T-thank you," they stammered. I nodded while pretending to fix their tent. The truth was, I was just pretending to fix their tent. Why did they bring a broken tent? This tent was damaged beyond repair, so I said I'd use it. As for where I'd sleep, of course, it would be up in the tree. I'm used to sleeping in trees. I went to my tent and peeked inside. The three were already asleep. With no one watching, I used telekinesis to cover them with a blanket. I made sure the tent was properly closed, just in case it was damaged. Kurt and the three princes returned with firewood. Their tents were already set up. Crimson and Sharlene were resting. I placed three pieces of wood around the fire for seating. They set the firewood in front of the logs and lit it. Ace, Kurt, and Spade shared one tent. The three princes shared the other. I sat in an Indian style on the log, eyes closed, sensing the surroundings for any monsters that might attack. The night deepened. "Why aren't you sleeping?" I opened my eyes. The six of them were still awake. Prince Ander was tending the firewood, while Kurt, Ace, and Prince Poltair were studying the map. Spade was beside me, and Prince Xander was keeping watch. "I'm not tired," I said. I saw Rodexia flying in the sky and called them. "Go to sleep, the three of you. That's Crimson and Sharlene's tent," I said to Ychesia and Rodexia. They transformed into cats and entered the tent. The six of them were amazed. Bluperin jumped onto me and lay down. I petted him. "Wow! Cool guardians!" Spade said beside me. "Shh. They're sleeping," I said. "Why don't you sleep in your tent, Blue?" Prince Xander suggested. "I'll sleep when I feel like it, so don't mind me. You should sleep because we have a long way to go. You need your strength," I said. "I'll sleep later. This map is so confusing," Kurt complained. "Let me see the map," I said. "Do you know how to read it? This map is a headache," he said, sitting next to me. I took the map. What an i***t Of course, it's confusing; it's a double map. The top layer needs to be removed. "Why are you looking at me like that? ...Ouch! What was that for?!" I flicked Kurt on the forehead. Everyone was watching me. "If you weren't so dumb, you'd realize this is a double map. The top layer is fake and needs to be removed," I explained, snatching the map from Prince Poltair and examining it. I grabbed it back. "I don't see anything... Are you tricking us?" Ace said. "Tsk. Watch closely," I said, handing Bluperin to Spade. "If you wake her, I'll kick you, Spade," I warned. He nodded. He likes cats, apparently. I placed the map on the ground in front of me. I knelt in front of the map in the Japanese sitting position. "What are you doing?" Ace asked. "Are you going to destroy it?" Prince Ander asked. "I'm going to reveal the true map," I said, and no one asked any more questions. I calmed myself and closed my eyes. I placed a hand over the map. Let them be amazed by what I was about to do. I felt my hand glow. I opened my eyes and slowly lifted the map, turning it to ice. The map was now floating in front of me, encased in ice. I clenched my hand, shattering the ice and revealing a new map. "See? It's still a double map. It looks like it's layered... they're very cautious about Laprisiana Village," I said. They were silent. Now both my hands were over the map. Light magic. The map glowed and when I touched it, it disappeared. This was the true map. I sat back and took Bluperin from Spade, who was still shocked. "Move on," I said, snapping them out of it. "How did you do that?!" Prince Poltair asked. I didn't answer. They didn't need to know. I just petted Bluperin. "Cool... no wonder I couldn't understand it, it was double-layered, hahaha," Kurt said. "Let's sleep!" the princes said, entering their tent. "I'll study this in my tent," Kurt said. "We'll sleep too. You should sleep, Blue," said Spade and Ace, entering their tent. I was left alone outside. I stood up and picked up the sleeping Bluperin. "Uhmm, Spade, can you keep her with you?" I asked, peeking into their tent. Kurt and Ace were studying the map. Spade took Bluperin. "Why don't you keep her with you?" Spade asked. "I want to... uhmm, I'm not sleeping yet," I explained. Spade nodded, and I closed their tent. I went to the bonfire and added more wood to keep it from getting too cold. By the large tree, we couldn't see the moons clearly because of the thick leaves. I sat by the fire, staring into it. When I got bored, I moved to the big tree and leaned against it. I pulled out the blanket and pillow I brought, with a mat too. I wasn't sleepy yet. I took the pillow and hugged it. I miss Gholyx... the truth is, I like Gholyx. He confessed his love to me, but I didn't respond, and I know he was hurt. But after his confession, I realized I like him too. I miss being called Drellyn. I closed my eyes. I'm not easily cold, but I'm used to having Gholyx beside me, hugging me. Move on, Blue... I must remember that love has no place for me. I shouldn't show that I'm affected. I was feeling cold. I hugged the pillow tighter. Then I sensed a presence in front of me. "Gholyx," I said without knowing why.
