"Hurry. Let's go," said Austen.
We walked away.
We weren't far when they took us to the ARENA??
"This is called Arenoris. This is where the physical combat fights take place," said Colbie.
"It's a point system. You start with 50 points, and if you defeat a monster, you earn 5 points, totaling 55 points," Matthew explained.
"Is there a prize?" I asked.
"Yes, if you defeat three monsters, which is 15 points, you get a prize of 300 gold," Dark said.
"And if you reach over 500 points, you'll be matched with others who have 500+ points," Blake added.
"What about you guys?" Sharlene asked.
"I have 501 points," Matthew replied.
They also shared their scores. Dark had the highest with 1320 points, Austen had 1000 points, and Blake had 1206 points.
No powers are allowed in these fights.
Maybe we should give it a try.
We started walking towards the registration area.
"Where are you going?" Austen asked.
"Don't tell me you're going to register?" Fall asked in surprise.
"Why not?" I replied.
They fell silent, so we continued walking.
We wore black bandanas to cover our faces and avoid being recognized.
We registered. I used the codename X, Crimson used Crim, and Sharlene used Yel.
We returned to Austen and the others.
"What names did you use?" Dark asked.
"When will you fight?" Fall asked.
We didn't answer and just looked at the arena. We were at a spot where we couldn't be easily seen. Our companions were puzzled.
"Our new contestant, who registered for today's fight with 50 points, MS. YEL," the MC announced.
They looked around, wondering if Ms. Yel was nearby. Everyone turned their attention to Sharlene as she descended.
"What?! Now?" Blake exclaimed in surprise.
We grinned.
"What is she doing? She's wearing a dress."
"She's weak..."
"She'll lose to the monster," they whispered.
Sharlene was now in the arena.
"Give me five," she said emotionlessly. She meant five monsters. Everyone was shocked.
Our companions cursed under their breath.
Even though the MC hesitated, he released a monster the size of Sharlene. Weapons were allowed. Sharlene removed one of her bracelets, which turned into a whip. It was a yellow and black combination whip. She swung it through the air.
All the monsters bared their sharp teeth, drooling as if a delicious meal was in front of them. When the monsters charged, everyone gasped.
"WHOA!!!"
"That was fast!"
They whispered.
Sharlene wrapped the whip around the monster's head and decapitated it. Without breaking a sweat, she took down all five monsters. Everyone fell silent until Sharlene climbed back to our side. She high-fived us.
They were still in shock.
"W-WHOAA!! That was amazing!!! Within 5 seconds, she defeated the monsters!!!!!!" the MC shouted.
The audience applauded.
"WHOOOAAAAAA!"
"She's incredible!"
They cheered.
"MS. YEL HAS 75 POINTS!!!!!" the MC announced.
"And our next contestant is MS. CRIM!" the MC said.
They looked again at Crimson as she headed to the arena.
"Isn't she with Ms. Yel?" they whispered.
"Give me five too," Crimson said unenthusiastically.
The MC didn't hesitate to release five monsters. Everyone was shocked when Crimson revealed a sword from her back and drew it. Many covered their eyes as her sword gleamed. Everyone gasped when they saw the five monsters sliced in half and bleeding in the arena. Crimson walked back to our side.
"Wait, what happened?!"
"That was too fast, I didn't see it!!"
"That's a Master Sword, right??"
"Waaahh! They're amazing!!"
They whispered.
"Who will be the last contestant??"
"I heard the last contestant has to defeat ten monsters..."
They whispered.
Ten monsters? Interesting!
"FOR THE LAST CONTESTANT....WITH 10 MONSTERS TO DEFEAT....MS. X!!!" the MC announced.
I walked towards the arena. With each step, they watched me. I also released a strong presence. They were almost peeing themselves. Before climbing up, I faced the audience. Even though they couldn't see me, I smirked. They turned pale. I climbed into the arena.
"Waa! Her presence is strong!!"
"Scary! Did you see that?!!! She smirked!!"
"Waa! So creepy, her hair is so long!!"
They gasped as I knelt in the middle. I placed ten knives on the ground.
Hmm...which one should I use?
"What is she doing?"
"Knives? Can she kill with those...she must be the weakest among them."
"Exactly, ten monsters, she's probably lost her mind," they whispered.
"Okay, let's begin!" the MC shouted. The monsters appeared, drooling. The ten monsters surrounded me. They charged, so I threw the knives one after another while crouching and listening to the surroundings. I gauged the distance.

BLLLAAAAHGG!

I stood up and dusted myself off. I looked at the monsters I had hit in the forehead with the knives. I pulled my real knife from the monster's forehead, making the other knives disappear. I coldly looked at the pale and sweating MC.
"My points," I said.
The MC snapped out of it, looking confused.
"A t-total of 100 p-points," he stammered.
I closed my eyes as they all started cheering, making the arena thunderous. I climbed back to Sharlene and Crimson. We high-fived as Austen and the others stood there in disbelief. I snapped my fingers, bringing them back to reality.
"W-wow!" they stammered.
We left the arena. They had been praising us non-stop. Saying we were amazing. We wandered around and ate there. When we got home, Gholyx greeted us. He asked how it went, so I told him the story. We lay next to each other in bed. The two were already asleep, as were Ghomni and Ghosper. I was surprised when Gholyx hugged me.
"Is something wrong?" I asked.
"I had a nightmare, it was scary," he said.
So I turned to face him. He was trembling with fear. We lay down with him hugging me like a child, trembling and burying his face in my chest, so I rubbed his back until he fell asleep. I turned away, and he hugged me from behind, burying his face in my neck.

Maybe it's just because I'm tired...actually, Gholyx is somehow similar to Luiz, but not quite.
I stared at the sleeping Gholyx until I unknowingly fell asleep.

CRIMSON'S POV
We've been here at Aunt Pein's for a week. We smiled, but we had grown fond of Aunt Pein and Uncle Quir. The five of us, including Autumn, were always here. We went to Arenoris together. We defeated them all. Now, I have over 10,000,000 points, as do Sharlene and Xian. We don't know where it started, but we became famous in Arenoris. They called us the 'Fearless Triplets.' They said we feared nothing and knew we were triplets, but they didn't know our real identities because our faces were always covered. We were the highest-ranked in Arenoris.
I was wearing headphones when someone sat next to me. I opened my eyes; it was just Colbie. He's so annoying, always sticking close to me. Like now, our faces were just 2 inches apart. He liked doing that. He said he never got tired of looking at my face. He's just crazy, right? And we never showed any emotions to them. I closed my eyes again and just listened to music. Then I felt someone breathing on my neck. I opened my eyes. Damn! It was just Colbie. We were the only ones here.
"Hahaa Your face was so funny...you were so shocked," he said as I pushed him away.
