"We'll discuss this at the police station," Detective Carter stated firmly, his badge glinting under the fluorescent lights.
Nathan's face transformed from shock to outrage. He staggered back, almost knocking over his chair.
"This is ridiculous!" His voice rose sharply. "You can't detain me based on some doctored video! Do you have any idea who I am at this hospital?"
The detective's expression remained impassive. "Sir, we have sufficient evidence to bring you in for questioning."
"Evidence?" Nathan scoffed, his eyes darting around the room as colleagues watched the scene unfold. "What evidence? This is clearly a setup!"
