(Elara's POV)
I woke slowly, my body aching pleasantly from the previous night's activities. The soft sheets against my bare skin felt luxurious, carrying Lucian's distinctive scent. I stretched, expecting to feel his warm presence beside me, but the bed was empty.
Opening my eyes fully, I glanced around the unfamiliar bedroom. Sunlight streamed through partially drawn curtains, illuminating the elegant furnishings of Lucian's hotel suite. The digital clock on the nightstand showed 9:47 AM.
I sat up quickly, clutching the sheet to my chest. I was supposed to be at a project meeting at 10:30. Where were my clothes?
