(Elara's POV)
"Silver-infused water," I explained to Officer Burke, pointing at the wet stains on my clothes where my skin was already reddening from the contact.
The officer nodded with understanding.
"We'll need statements from everyone involved," he said, gesturing to his partner. "Franklin, escort Mrs. Damon to the car. We'll take her statement at the station."
As the second officer approached Mrs. Damon, her dramatics shifted to genuine alarm. She backed away, eyes widening with fear that replaced her earlier confidence.
"This is outrageous! I've done nothing wrong!" She looked frantically at the remaining onlookers, her voice rising to a panicked pitch. "These girls attacked me! I'm the victim here!"
