"He'll break you, little omega. And when he does, don't come crawling back to me." Damon's parting words hung in the air as Willow pulled me toward the exit.
I squared my shoulders and turned back to face him, tired of his threats and manipulations. "I think you've mistaken who's broken here, Damon."
His eyes narrowed dangerously as he stepped closer, thinking he could intimidate me as he'd always done before. "You think you're so clever now, don't you? With your new pack hospital position and your... connections."
I felt Willow tense beside me, ready to defend me, but this was my battle.
"What do you want, Damon?" I asked directly, knowing prolonging this would only feed his ego.
