Now that we know there is nothing in the other attics, it is time to start the trek out the door. John and Scarlett have started to pull the bags of pillows and the suitcases of books to the stockpile of other things we found in the attics. My parents are following them down the road, each one loaded up with bags of stuff. Liam's parents are nowhere to be seen, so they must be down the road in front of John and Scarlett. Mr Turner is standing on the road, waiting for us to come out. He smiles at us, looking relieved that we did not find anything.
The book and box for John and Scarlett are hidden in Liam's backpack. I felt kind of silly saying it, but I asked Liam to hide them. I cannot explain why, but I think that these are supposed to be for our eyes only. We can look at them later, so
