While I was altering my clothes and getting changed, Mr Turner had John and Scarlett instruct all the school-aged children to pack their backpacks with their school books and sewing kits. Their school books will come in handy outside, so they have something to read besides history books. The sewing kits , Mr Turner said, are in case they need to repair a tent or their clothes. "It cannot hurt to be as prepared as we can be." I do agree with him. This is why many minds are better than one. One mind cannot think of everything all by itself.
