“What have you been doing?“ Casey barged into my office, and I scowled at her.
“That's not the question. What are you doing here?“ I retorted.
She didn't back down. I know she wouldn't. Casey could be very stubborn when it suits her.
“What I have been doing is keeping to myself like I promised.“ She said.
The maid I sent with her jogged in minutes later, breathless from probably running around looking for Casey.
“Alpha,” She went on her knees. “I'm so sorry. I didn't know she was gone. She made me get her food when I came back, I didn't meet her inside. Please don't kill me. I didn't mean to.“ She rambled on and on and groaned.
