Chapter 30
Ruby and Jaxon both arrived at the house and to her surprise, he didn't say anything to her. Neither did he yell at her.
She breathed a sigh of relief as she watched him disappear to his room, while he acted as if she was non-existent.
Ruby didn't say anything too and just walked back to her room.
On getting to her room, she wanted to shower but she realized that she had no clothes. Jaxon had talked about getting her some, but he was yet to get it for her as he also instructed that she bring nothing from her old house.
Looking at the cast on her leg, she sucked in a deep breath as she made her way out of her room to go meet him. She had no choice but to ask him about what she would be wearing.
